Hey everyone!! I wanted to thank everyone on here for all the good information and tell a little about my trip for anyone else
It was awesome and I already want to be back!!! Lol
We had rain all week but we didn't let that get us down. I brought dollar store ponchos and they didn't last a day. They were too thin so we bought Disney ones. I recommend to make sure you bring think ones or buy theirs.
We over planned and while I didn't expect to follow it thoroughly we didn't follow it at all. It was DS4's first time being over 40" so he got to ride all the "big boy" rides so we rode them 50 million times haha but we just kept going back to MK and cut down at other parks for him to enjoy it. Gotta love those hoppers.
We swam either in between parks or went until dinner time and came and swam until bed. He loved the pool at POFQ. It was amazing!!!
We tried MNSSHP for the first time. Had front row seats for the first parade. Got them at 7:15 sat until 8:00 and it was like 8:05 when it started pouring. DS was crying and cranky so we just left
we hit candy lines on the way out though. Won't be trying that again until he's way older and can stay up even in the rain
We did soft opening of F&W. ammmazing!!! We went at 2:00 after doing test track and soarin and other rides and got in a lot if booths with lower crowds before we left @5 when everyone seemed to be pouring in as we left. It was great!!! Would love to go back
I've never seen so much rain in one week in Florida but I usually go at the beginning of Sept? But even with all the rain and everyone else having magic bands but me lol it was awesome!!!!
A couple more tips:
Try not to over pack. There is nothing worse than have a stroller an over packed bag and other things while trying to stop a four year old from running around at a bus stop or on the bus. I ditched the bag half way into the week and did just fine in the park without anything. It was awesome to not have to worry about so much Though I didn't need sun screen at all since it was overcast all week.
Don't forget your camera!!! Did that one day and am still upset about it
Don't let rain get you down!!! Put on a poncho and enjoy. (I swear crowds were just as bad I was waiting for everyone to leave when it POURed one day and it seemed just as busy. Way over a 1 crowd level that was projected!)
I can't stress enough how good that Sunshine grill? Place is in The lands at Epcot. I've never eaten there before and I don't know how I missed it!!!!????
And speaking of food loved BOG. I had a lunch FP and walked right in past the mile long line. Thank GOD I found out about that on these boards. I would have never waited than I would have missed out on an awesome experience!!
And finally saw celebrate the magic and wishes for the first time. Just wow!!!!!!!!
Now that I've gone on long enough and probably have lost half of you (and probably forgot to mention a lot as there is so many exciting things) I hope everyone enjoys their trips!!!!!
