Used this board before my trip and want to pay back for all the good info. Here is what I learned.

-Got to the hotel at 7PM on Monday 7/19 went staright to WWHP. Wait time for FJ at 60 minutes, got in at 45 minutes.

- Line for butter beer 10 minutes

- Line for old dueling dragons at 5 minutes.

- Went to Hulk wait time 15 minutes.

- Stayed at HH Express (5605 Major Blvd). $75/night. Recommend.

- Day 2 went back to IA. Many tour groups from Brazil. Staff said it is like that all July. Went to Spiderman, wt 30 minutes. Popeye at 60 minutes and JP at 30 minutes.

- Day 3 US. RRC wait time at 60 minutes

- Mummy at 15 minutes

- Simpsons 15 minutes

- MIB 15 minutes

Let me know if there is anything else y want to nowou

Yeah, already forgot about the Brazilians. Learned to steer clear of them wherever you saw them heading, particularly at meal times.

I need to find a clean yet inexpensive room for this Saturday night--July 31. We have reservations for PBH Aug 1-6. What is an HH hotel?

I think they meant Holiday Inn Express. We stayed at that hotel too, about a month ago. I'd stay there again. It is very close, in the Major Blvd area. All those hotels in that area are fine.

Sorry for the misspell. Yes Holiday Inn Express. There are two on Major Blvd. I accidentally went to the one across from the Dsouble Tree. It appears to have a major rehab going on. Would not recommend. Went a mile further to this one. Have no complaints for the price

Do you know if these tour groups have FOTL access? I just hoped tour groups will begin to slowdown in august (I will be there 9th-12th august)

From what I saw they did not have FTOL access.
I guess that's the advantage of Express over FastPass...everyone in the group would have to pay for it and not get it free. I bet that really cuts down on the Express wait times considering the large groups can't all come and crowd the line.

Thanks for the report, sounds like the evening is a great time to go :thumbsup2

Yes, they don't crowd a ride line if you have express pass, but if you see a large group of them heading to get something to eat, steer clear of that place.

It's not just the size of the group that's the trouble. a TM explained to us that a lot of them only have marginal English skills so that slows things down, plus they each pay individually which is what really slows things down.

We talked with some of them while in line and they are very nice people, they just happen to slow things down in large groups.

Riggsecu,
Did you have an Express Plus Pass? Just wondering if the wait times you listed were for the regular, or the express lines?

We just got back too and the tour groups are everywhere! If you see piles of bookbags dumped near a ride, I would move on. We met up with friends that had spent the day in Busch Gardens and apparently the tour groups were there and at Sea World. We were shocked to see an entire tour group enter in a single rider line. As we were leaving Hogwarts one morning, a tour group was in line for Forbidden Journey and were in the greenhouse section clapping and chanting loudly. I can't imagine being right behind them.

My oldest DS was in line for FJ last month (he went to IoA with a friend from school and his parents) when a tour group started this up. DS and some of the people in line around him decided to match the group with their own loud song... the Star Spangled Banner. :rolleyes1 I guess if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
