My first vacation alone and it was awesome!
Also my first time staying at a Disney resort and I loved it!
Took a 7:30am flight to John Wayne airport, took the shuttle to the Paradise Pier hotel, by the time i got there it was around 10ish or 11ish. Checked into the hotel then went over to the park. Of course went on Star Tours first (its like tradition to go on that right right when I get there). Then after that I just had to get my favorite thing ever...Dole Whip Float. Those things are so good!
It wasn't really that busy so that was great! I think the longest I had to wait for a ride was about 20 minutes. POTC didn't have a line at all! Usually when I go there's a 15+ minute wait for that.
For some reason I was thinking that the park closed at 6 so I ended up leaving and going back to my hotel. Watched this channel where the princesses read you bed time stories, this night was Belle and Snow White. The next night was Cinderella. Woke up at 5 am the next day and took a 2 hour bus/sub ride to Hollywood ended up spending more time there then I had planned. Then went back to the hotel and went up to the pool. My plan was to go on the slide once just to see how it was...once turned into twice..and so on. Then went and spent the rest of the day at the parks.
Thursday I got in an hour early for the morning madness thing. Had mickey waffles at the hotel, it was too cute I didn't want to eat it! Got in early and decided that I would celebrate my 'unbirthday'. It was awesome everyone kept saying 'happy birthday' even some of the people that don't work there were saying it. 3 of the princesses told me happy birthday too
(Belle, Tiana and Jasmin.) Went back to the hotel to get my stuff because I only booked 2 nights at PP and spent the last night at a Best Western across the street.
It was ok but I enjoyed PP much more! It was quite an event finding that hotel because there are like 4 near the park and I knew it was on Harbor blvd so that narrowed it down to 2. Walked into one and found out it was the wrong one so had to walk a bit more. Next time I'm bringing a suitcase with wheels!
I thought that a backpack would be enough cuz i dont bring alot of stuff....ended up leaving with a bunch of stuff though
Went over to California Adventure until they closed (6) got a free bag of tortillas. The Toy Story ride was awesome!!!! The line was so long (probably about 30 minutes) but it was so worth it! Had lunch over at Tortilla Joe's in downtown disney, that was good! Veggie tacos with black beans and rice and a margarita.
Then went over to DL until close. Then over to Captain Kid i think the restaurant was called. NEVER AGAIN! Horrid! Just the look of the food disturbed me.
I had so much fun though!
The good things about it were the view from the PP, I was able to watch them practice the water show. I got up at 5am and saw it going, that was really neat.
It wasn't really that busy.
They brought back Captain EO!
The only bad thing was that the Matterhorn wasn't running.
Good thing about traveling alone, you don't have to deal with arguing and drama (that tends to happen when I go with 3 or more friends), i got to do what I wanted and when I wanted. I even got to go on rides I haven't been on in years (because my friends think Small World and Peter Pan are stupid
) The only bad thing is no one to talk to, I ended up texting people most of the time or calling my mom.
I finally found the hidden mickey in the Alice ride so I was excited about that.
Also I noticed something when I was there, the only princess they don't sell items of is Giselle (Enchanted)
I think she is probably my favorite, well...I think she's the hottest

I didn't want to eat it, its too cute!
Rivers of America was empty (kinda a good thing because now I know how deep the water is i'm not afraid of it, i have strange fears)
I found a possible hidden mickey on this
My score
My mickey i drew at the animation thing
I dont know what exactly that is, it was on Thunder Mountain and to me it looks like a mickey head (the black thing)
