we just got home from out trip on sunday. DD-5 is still crying about having to leave! Had an awesome time.

The characters seemed to be even more interactive this year than last. Alice rode on the Tea Cups with the Kids and Mary Poppins rode the Carosel. They also seemed to spend more time with them. Maybe it was just because the park wasn't that crowded.

Finally got to see Daisy. DD was so excited to see her there. Also saw Cinderella's step-mother and step-sisters for the first time. DD ran as fast as she could away from them!

Overall had a great week!

Anyone getting ready to go next week and have any questions about things you plan on doing or if we saw certain things, just let me know.

Sounds like a great trip. I've never seen the characters ride the rides! How cool! And I hope we see Daisy when we go.

When we went the first time my DD was 5 and she cried the whole way home. She's 8 now and still looks at those pics from the first time. What a magical place... I can't get enough!!!

My kids also cry all the way home! It just breaks my heart when they do that!
Here lately everytime I put DD in her carseat she ask if we are going to Dizzy Worl and then cries when I tell her no not today!!

I know we were told it is rare to see her. We never have before. But last week she was all over the place! My daughter was so excited. All she talked about was how last year she didn't see Daisy. So it was amazing that our first day in the park last week she was all over. She was even riding in the car with during the beginning of the afternoon parade. She was taking pics and signing autographs right in town square. She also appeared in the judges tent too. Was great!

We saw Daisy several times on our Feb trip and I was surprised. I had always looked for her before and have never seen her. She was up front in the MK signing autographs. I also just read on the restaurants board that she will be in a new character breakfast with Donald at the AK sometime near the end of the year/beginning of next.

They were right behind the castle next to the restrooms on the right side of the snowwhite ride.

They were carrying on and on just as you would expect them too - all snobby and whiny and arrogant. you can't miss them if they are there. they are hysterical.

Was the smoke noticeable? We are leaving Friday, and I am so stressed out about the smoke! My daughter has some breathing problems on occasion, and I am concerned that the smoke will bother her. Did you notice it?

As horrible as this sounds, we were there from the 5th through the 12th and I didn't even know about the fires until we were driving home and about an hour later on I-95 I saw a highway sign warning of heavy smoke ahead. But we never encountered any.

So as of just this past Saturday, there wasn't a hint of smoke at Disney.

We were there 5/4 - 5/14 and never noticed the smoke at Disney either.

This was our first trip to Disneyworld, just got back on the 5th. We saw Daisy twice during our trip. She was at the character meet and greet at MGM in front of the Scorcerer's hat with Donald. We saw her somewhere else, but I can't remember where, could be MK right at Town Hall.

We also saw Cinderella's stepsisters right outside the castle. We had just finished lunch at CRT and they were out there. They had just closed the line to get autographs so we missed the chance for a pic and autograph.

My daughter (4) was very into getting autographs and pics. We waited less than 5 minutes at every park for characters which was nice. Power Rangers ended up being her favorites b/c they made her strike poses like the rest of them. The only long one was Ariel at Ariel's Grotto which was more like 30 minutes.
