That sounds like an eventful holiday!! Very much looking forward to your trippie so I can hear all about it!!

This is one trippie that will keep us on the edge of our seats :)

Wow sounds like a holiday with a few stories worth sharing :) Glad you made the best of the situation and had some good times :)

Tell me about the snakes!!!

We were in Florida 5th - 19th August and during the first week the 2 boys went out to the pool (they can change quicker than us oldies!!) and are both competent swimmers, luckily they did not get straight in the water and within a couple of minutes both came back in screaming - 'there's a snake in the pool'. Right I thought, there having a game here as DG (my mum) is absolutley petrified of the things and can't even watch them on the TV, so out DH and I go and there sure enough was a snake, about 18" long swimming aroung in the pool... erghhhhhhhhh.

DH and I used the pole with a net on and eventually caught the slippery little thing, it was rearing up at us at all times, and then as the villa backed on to a conservation area we let it go out there. But we did check the pool every day after that before the children went out there - thankfully he never returned.

Ever wish you hadn't seen something....? :sad2:

The pool at the villa we are staying at ISN'T screened AND is quite a dark tiled pool... so will be EXTRA vigilant before I dive in...

Boo
