Hello All -
We just returned home from a wonderful stay at POFQ. We loved the resort, it was beautiful. We were in building 4 which is fairly close to everything. We were very happy there. The food court was really nice and the bus service was great. The longest we waited was about 15-20 minutes and that was around 3pm. We were waiting for the bus to TL. I actually preferred taking the boats down to Downtown Disney because it was such a relaxing ride.

Mousekeeping was very good to us and the kids. They did several little things to make my DD smile. The resort grounds were very clean and well-kept. We only ran into one CM who wasn't having a "Disney" day. She was kind of crabby but that's ok. We didn't let her ruin our day.

Bottom line is... I am so glad we chose this resort. I want to to go back there but my DH informed me that next time we are staying at the Polynesian. We took the monorail there one day just to check it out and he loved it. We'll see. I myself was perfectly happy at POFQ.

If anyone has questions please feel free to ask.
Gotta get some sleep now, Renee ::MinnieMo

Hi Renee! Glad you had a good time. We love POFQ also. We just got back Fri. from 4 days at WL. Sounds like we were there at the same time!!! We had an excellent trip too. I posted my report in the Trip Report forum if you're interested. Don't know about you, but I'm missin' the mouse already!!!

Hi! I'm so glad to hear you had a great time at POFQ. I'll be there in about 3 weeks and am really looking forward to it. I've never stayed there before and am glad you found it clean and well kept. :D

Hi. I'm so glad to hear you loved POFQ. We're staying there for my birthday in Sept and I was hoping I made the right decision in booking there. We usually stay at concierge deluxe for my birthday, but this year I started my own business so my budget is tighter and, rather than not going, I booked moderate. The size of the resort and the boat to DTD, plus the beautiful pictures I've seen convinced me to try it.

We are going in late August and are curious as to how crowded the parks are this summer. Any insight?

packy - On two of our days it rained off and on and the parks weren't too crowded because of it. However, once the sun started to shine the crowds appeared. I'm told that it is not as crowded in the summer as it is around the holiday seasons though. This past week we saw some very long lines so I would plan to use the fastpass system to your advantage. That is what we did and it worked rather well.
As far as at the resort, it was crowded during the lunch hour in the food court so we tried to eat during the off hours.

Any other questions,please ask
