Was at ASMu for 6 days. DD and I had a great time. We arrived at the resort around 11am. Our room wasn't ready yet. I asked where it was and the CM told me it was in Rock 4. I asked if there was anything closer. She made a call and told us there was a room in Jazz 2 and it was avaible now. YAY! We were as close to preferred building Caplyso as we could be wihtout having to pay the extra $$. Our room was 2612, the second one away from Caplyso. A good way to start our vacation. We took our bags to our room then headed to EPCOT for lunch with the princesses in Norway.
The weather was hot, humid, and rainy (except it didn't rain at all yesterday and it was by far the hottest day of our vacation.) The crowds were huge, but suprisingly we didn't have much of a wait time for any ride. Our longest wait was for The Great Movie Ride.
We took advantage of FP, did the mornings(not usually early mornings though), breaks in afternoon and went back in the evenings. (We were at MK until 2:30 last night)
We rode RnR for the first time...several times, DD loved it. Also our first time for Space Mountain. We only rode it once. It took me until last night to talk DD into it. We rode it during regular park hours with a FP, but the line during EMH was unbelievably long so we skipped it.
We did Mission Space on Sunday. It was intense but not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. DD wanted to ride it again but I thought our time would better spent elsewhere. lol Soarin was amazing. Used FP but even if we didn't I think the wait in line would have been worth it. Its definately a must-do on future trips.
Stitch...like the Alien version much better. I definately could do without the chillidog. lol
Last night we did EMH for Mk. We didn't leave the park until 2:30am. We rode Splash Mtn 3 times, twice without even having to get off. Then we headed for BTMRR one last time. We were the last people to ride it. When we got off they closed it down.
We did all we 'needed' to do in the first 3 days or so, then the last days were for us to do whatever we wanted and do our favorites again. It was actually quite relaxing.
We had a great bus driver named Jeff on our way back to the resort from MGM. His name was Jeff. The bus ride home could have been considered an attraction. Then on Saturday evening we went to take the bus from ASMu to MK so we could walk to the CR for dinner. The bus driver heard DD and I talking about going to Chef Mickeys so he offered to take us directly to CR instead of to MK. We were the only ones getting on the bus. He actually said "lets pull away from teh bus stop so one else gets on and i'll take you to the Contemporary". That was way cool. Our own private bus on DDs birthday.
Any questions? We had an awesome time and are already planning for our next vacation. (Can't keep it a secret this time. lol)

that is weird. I'm from WV and I just got back from WDW too. I never meet anyone from WV.
