Just got back , so much busier than last week in May & 1st week in June

Hi ,

Just arrived home this morning after a very turbulent ride across the Atlantic

We have always gone to Disneyworld late May / early June , but now have to go in the summer holidays due to DD's schooling .

What a huge difference we saw in the crowd levels !!!


The main difference we found was the amount of parties from Brazil ,

They were EVERYWHERE ! In very large numbers .

Is this common for July & does this improve once American kids go back to school .

One day we were in Typhoon Lagoon on the lazy river & it just felt like 'people soup' !!!!

You just could not float around and enjoy the ride as there were herds of parties walking & pushing with their inflatable rings

Not at all enjoyable !!

May look at last two weeks in August next year - anyone got any experience of this time of year ?

Last week of August is similar to last week in may, maybe even less busy.

I disliked the crowd levels end may early June and the weather was appalling, so we would never go back that time of year either! I couldn't imagine going at this time of year. We are sticking to September and October in future!

We have been there mis August a few times and it definitely gets quieter as the month goes on and the USA schools go back, I love that time of year

Been last two weeks in August the last two years - it's great. Most US schools are back and it really quietens down. No large groups that we have ever seen! Have also been twice for last week of May and first week of June and we find the last two weeks in August quieter than this part of the year.
