The fireworks are fantastic! They can be busy - you'll need to grab a good spot around the lake at least 30 mins before it starts. The parks aren't too bad....we were there for the end of Oct (Halloween was busy!! On Sunday 30 there were over 70,000 in the park between the day and night attendance!!). I would highly recommend the bonfire nights though!

Sorry to hear you had such a busy crowded time. But thanks for letting us know about it.

I totally agree with what you said re the shops/shopping. We were there in June & bought very little. With our DS aged 13 & DD 15 plus eldest DS at home to buy for we could have spent a fortune on sports gear, but could we find any ? no? DS collects disney baseballs as on his very 1st visit to DLP we bought him a baseball & bat. I had to really search to find one & they only had a choice of one &it wasn't anything special

Noticed on sundy people were gathering for the parade 45min before it started!!

we just came back on the 11th.... and on we went to get places for fantillusion straight after the magic fairy tale ceramony! lol... but one of us nipped off for a cup of tea and a donut for us both...

last year we were left it till later and got ok places but then loads of people pushed infront of us... this time, for all parades, we got there early and sat on the kerb, normally infront of a bin so no-one would push us...
