Just got back June 18-25

Hey everyone! We just got back from our trip and we had a magical time! My bff and I have gone for the past 3 years, same week, but man was this year hotter than the past. Just a couple of thoughts

1) We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour! Absolutely loved it! Learned so much and saw a lot, loved going underground. Ryan was amazing and answered all my questions, even ones I didn't think he would. If you can spare the time and want to learn more definitely do this tour!

2) Also did Early Magic Morning-first time ever and totally worth it! We were lucky enough to grab pictures with no one in them, ride PP 3x and Seven Dwarfs 10x. Our last time was with no one else on the train with us! Totally worth every penny!

3) It rained hard for the first time of our three trips, and we were lucky enough to always be eating, or at a drawing class at AoA. If you need a fun break these drawing classes are free and a great way to cool off!

4) Fp was wonderful, we were always able to get more than 1 extra fp. Epcot days we scored extra TT, and Soarin without a problem. We had Frozen but dropped it because we rode so many times via Akershush breakfast (rode 5 times before lines got up to 20 mins). HS was not a problem either and we were able to grab same day for tsm. MK never a problem and on our last we grabbed a total of 15 fp, space 4x, btm 3x, seven dwarfs as well. Refresh is the key

5) The only issue we had was FP was acting up one day at Epcot totally messed up plans but CMs at Soarin were kind and helped us out. Also without getting political, I was disappointed with how people acted at the hall of presidents. It has always been a favorite of mine but people made comments and the air was very thick throughout the whole show. Security didn't get involved but I noticed there were three of them. Just isn't the same (luckily Epcots show was much better)

If anyone has a question please do not hesitate to ask! Kenny the pirate and touring plans helped in so many ways! Can't wait to plan for our next trip...hopefully this time next year!

We were there some over lapping days 18-21. I agree with the heat, I thought it was really bad this year. The humidity was overwhelming, especially at night.

We did Hall of Presidents and didn't have anyone say anything. I was worried since I had my 6 & 10 yr old granddaughters with me.

Good to know thank you! We plan on June 13-20 next year and I’ve been a little nervous about that. I was there when President Obama was introduced after he was elected and the show we were at a ton of people were booing the whole time he talked. There’s one place I go to get away from reality and all the crap going on in the U.S., it’s WDW! Thanks for the report and I agree, keys to the kingdom is awesome!

I agree, we were there the 7th - 15th, and the heat was unbearable. We live in Jacksonville, FL so we are used to heat, but this year has been the worst we have seen in years. We did more pool time than park time. Luckily for us, we are Annual Passholders so if we don't get to do everything, we can do it next time. I am glad you had a good time, despite the heat.

Nice report, we were there June 3rd-June 13th and when we were at the Hall Of Presidents we got the opposite reaction. There were no comments made and a lot of applause and cheers. I am a retired Marine and one of my requirements for paying for these trips is one trip to The Hall Of Presidents (no matter who is president) and when we go to Epcot The American Experience show.

That's too bad about The Hall of Presidents... I hope that doesn't happen while we are there. I know my oldest daughter has been nervous about that. We just want to enjoy the show without all the negativity that you see all over social media.

We were there the same time as you, June 18th-28th. It was hot, but with good planning and plenty of breaks, we managed just fine. I don’t recall this June being any hotter than others, but my memory isn’t always the best. We did appreciate the afternoon rains as it would cool things off for a bit. June is still our favorite month to travel to Disney.

I’m very sorry to hear about your experience at the Hall of Presidents. That’s a shame. We did not experience anything like that when we watched the show.

It sounds like a lot of you had different experiences than me, which is great! I guess I just want to watch and hear the president, not hear cheers or boos. Just want it to be the cute show I remembered as a child without the politics. Glad most of you had a different experience. We will continue to see it and hope in the future people can just watch without cheering or booing...
