We just got back today from DL! :goodvibes The weather was warm (and not too affected by the fires) and the crowds were low. We flew in Wednesday night and spent Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the parks. We used our EE on Thursday and the crowds were low all day!! We went on so many rides -- we were able to do almost everything we wanted to do in one day! We had a PS for Carnation Cafe and food was yummy. Friday we did the Minnie and Friends breakfast and I think we had about 6-7 characters come around. My kids were in heaven! The food was great and I thought it was a great character meal. We were able to see lots of shows and went on more rides. We went early Saturday morning -- right at opening (we couldn't get up in time to make it for the 7 a.m. EE, but got there at 8). It was dead and we had 5 min. waits on the Fantasy Land rides until about 10. The park filled up quickly! I was glad we had a PS for Cafe Orleans (had the famous Monte Cristo) because the wait was ridiculous. We headed over to DCA which was fun and not so crowded. My favorite food find was this Oreo brownie that I found at the candy shop in DCA (near the Hollywood Backlot). It was so delish! My sister got one of the huge white chocolate chip cookies and she loved it, too. I got some pumpking fudge and their caramel and chocolate covered marshmallows for my sister in law who's baby ended up in the hospital during their whole trip (she never got to go to the parks because she had to stay with her baby in the hospital -- sad).
We did go to the Princess Fantasy Faire and my girls loved it. We saw Princess Minnie (cutest thing ever), Pocohontas, and Cinderella. Mulan came as we were leaving. They liked the coronation ceremony and maypole dance. The line was about an hour to meet the princesses, but one of my SIL's asked a CM about standing in line to save spots and the CM said that was totally fine! Almost all of the parents were doing that! So the kids went and made crowns and saw the show and came in line when that was over. We also did the face painting and it was actually really cute. It was $12-15 and if they wanted sparkles that was a dollar extra (pa-leeze with that!). It was overpriced, but it made my girls feel special, so oh well! We didn't end up doing the hairstyling becase it was about $30 and DH didn't want to spend $60 getting my 2 girls hair done.
Anyways, this was supposed to be a short post, not a full trip report, so I'll end here LOL! I'm excited for those of you who are about to go!!
:cheer2:

Are you going to post a full trip report then?? :)
Sounds like you had a great time! I'm so jealous, my trip still feels like ages away!

I will try and do a full report. I need to figure out how to post pics because the reports are so great when they have pictures! There are so many things we did this time that we didn't have time to do last time -- so I have lots of reviews! And all of our food was good, so of course, I'll have to tell about that, too. If I can just get around to uploading some photos, I'll be set . . . :goodvibes
