Just got back from X-Factor Live concert

Hi Just got back from the MEN Arena in Manchester - been to see X-Factor Live (the matinee performance).

The host was Jeff Brazier - little disappointed as hoped to see Dermot - none of the judges were there.

Many of the final 12 were there (except the 2 girl bands, Scott and Austin). Wasn't overly keen on Rachel Hylton on the show but she was fantastic today. JLS seemed to be most popular - the screams for Aston were ear splitting. Daniel and Eoghan were very average but of course Alex played a blinder at the end. Came home a bit poorer - DD got a t-shirt (£20) and a programme (£10) but it was a great day, even though we couldn't get near any of the restaurants in the Printworks afterwards.

I went last Sunday to the first show - I got bought a ticket for my birthday by my friend who I think just needed someone to go with.

JLS certainly have some adoring fans

I went to see the Newcastle one last week - it was great! I was impressed that everyone "could" really sing.

Rachel still got on nerves - she still has that bad attitude, Daniel was still cheese on toast, and Diana and Eoghan were very awkward with each other.

JLS, Ruth and Alexandra were amazing, with JLS getting the most applause
