Just got back from 6 nights at CBR at Disney and 2 nights at PBH at Universal. Checked in about 9:00 AM, waited about 20 minutes in line. The gentleman(forgot his name) who checked us in was extremely helpful as well as the bellboy who escorted us to our room. We got an upgrade to a Bayview room on the 4th floor of the East Wing. The room was luxurious and the view was breathtaking. We also recieved our complimentary fruit with the Loews First Card. The boat service to US and IOA was Ok. It came about every 15 to 20minutes. They really need a few more. The front of the line access was the greatest. We walked on to most everything. My family liked eating at the Monster's Cafe, Hard Rock, Margaritaville and Sal's Market Deli. Any questions, please ask.

I was wondering what you thought of the service and the rooms at PBH. Are they large? We have a Del pool view for the 4th, 5th of July and I'm a little worried that it won't live up to my expectations. 180.00 bucks is a lot of money and i reserved 3 rooms per night. I'm trying to be excited but I'm not a ride person and the only reason we are staying is for the 10yo to have a"bonus" for "her" vacation as we are taking everyone to WDW for the ggg's 2nd b-day so this is "her" special surpise. I have the lowes card but have'nt recieved it in the mail yet so will they accept just the number? I may need to call huh? I'd love to hear your thoughts on the Pool and Margaritaville. We have ressies there for the night of the 5th and we plan on Emerils for the 4th of July. Thanks

They don't need to see the Loew's card as long as you have your number. When we were there last year, my card hadn't arrived and I just gave the number and we received our perk .

You won't be disappointed! The rooms are beautiful and roomy. I am not a ride person either, hate roller coasters, but there are rides that are alot of fun that are mild and I think you will enjoy. We only went to one pool, very early in the morning, but it was nice. Universal is wonderful. I never felt crowded the way I did at Disney.

PBH is luxurious and you'll love it. There are 3 pools. The Villa pool is for Villa guests only, the Hillside pool is behind the end of the East Wing and the Beach pool is behind the West Wing. The beach pool is great. It is surrounded by sand, a snack bar, and a pizza parlor as well as the game room. I'm not a ride person either. I enjoyed US but could take or leave IOA. At the hotel we only ate at Sal's Deli (great pizza) and the Celateria Caffe Espresso. Be careful of the snack and refrigerator bar in the room. My DH loved it and racked up quite a bill.
