Just got back (sigh) from 7 nights at the GF and 3 nights at the YC. I will be posting a trip report shortly. I did much research and it really paid off. We (wife and 3 boys) had the best vacation of our lives! The weather was absolutely beautiful (80's and sunny every day). If you have any questions, I'd be happy to answer.

Did you get any info on when the new pool at the GF is scheduled to open? I think I might be able to lure my family to stay there once the new pool opens!

Construction on the pool had started while I was there. The sign said that the pool would be completed by the summer.

Just wondering how old your boys were and what were their favorite parts? Did they like the characters?

My boys are 8, 5 and 18 months. Each of them had a great time and believe it or not, I think the 18 months old had more fun than all of us. The 18 month old loved the characters, fireworks, shows and pool. He was dancing along the walkways of Epcot at 8 o'clock in the evening without missing a beat. The 5 year old loved the characters and pool. We did several character meals and he would have done several more. The character meals are, however, very expensive. The 8 year old liked the characters too, although the pool and the thrill rides were his favorite. We did e-ticket night at MK and were able to fit in 14 rides in three hours. There are memories I have of each of these boys that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I will be posting more on our trip shortly.

Looking forward to hearing about your trip...:)

If you have some time, read through my trip reports. I can't remember the room number, but I did put it in Episode 1 of my report. We really liked the GF, but we switched to the YC for our last 3 nights and found that even better. Let me know if you have any other questions.

HEY! Did you post more reports? I'm dying to read more about your trip! The others were a hoot!

Happy to hear you had a great trip! We are staying at the YC in mid-March and can't wait!!! My kids (4 and 3) love Stormalong Bay. We stayed at the BC last year and spent a lot of time swimming because the pool is SO fun. :D
