Just got back from several days at Disney and at Royal Pacific. We had perfect weather - until Friday when it got a little chilly. The Disney parks were very crowded the whole week but at IOA the crowds were very minimal. Like I mentioned though - it was pretty cold out that day. Still I can't imagine doing the park without the front of the line passes. Even with the small crowds - the lines were at 20 minutes on up. It's just so nice to walk up and go on a ride. Also IOA just doesn't have many attractions - especially if you don't do roller coasters. I can't imagine the park on a crowded day. Got our Lowes cookies and milk - very good. Couldn't get a local paper though - and if you can believe we were in the Orlando Senitnel - my sister saw our picture. Please ask any questions you have - I'll be doing laundry for three days!

We got in on Friday and it was so cold! :cold: :cold: We walked onto every ride with our hotel passes! We loved Royal Pacific!

We are thinking about staying there next trip. How did you like it?

It is a very nice hotel. The pool area is great and we spent some time there. I think when it's warmer - the pool area would be alot of fun. The gym / workout area also looked very good - although we didn't go down and use it. There is a nice little breakfast area off the lobby to get cereal, fruit, rolls, etc before you head to the park. The front of the line passes are what make this such a good deal. We paid more for our room than I wanted to - but it was worth it. Walking on every ride - doing Spiderman four times in a row - is the best. I'm glad we did Disney first - cause you do get spoiled just walking on to the rides and going up to the front.

It is also nice being close to the City Walk area. We did some shopping at Margaritaville and ate at NBA City. Also walked around and shopped some, got some Starbucks (it was cold Friday) - so it's nice that it is just a few minutes from the hotel.

We did have to wait quite a while for a water taxi to the park in the morning. It would have been much quicker to walk - but my girls were getting tired of all the walking. I also had to request our cookies and milk twice and never did get the local paper - but those aren't that big of deals. Our room had a great view of the park but it was as far away from the elevators as you could get - maybe since it was the end of the trip - we noticed it more. It was fun to have Hulk right out our window though. Room was 1750.
Anything else - just let me know!

I just booked Royal Pacific for June 7 to 11!!

Are the breakfast and cookies and milk complimentary?

Stayed there last trip for 2 nights before CBR. Big mistake - not in hotel but in order. CBR was a BIG step down. Loved RP.

The cookies and milk are the welcome gift for Loews First Members who are not using a discount rate. Breakfast is extra unless you are staying in club or have bought the breakfast plan.

I just received the Loews card. We are staying at RPR, we have the Stay 4, Play 4 deal, is that a discounted rate. Will we get our things from the Loews card.

We had a discounted rate from Triple A and still got the Loews perks - cookies and milk, two newspapers. I don't think it makes a difference.

For the Lowes perk just be nice and ask at checkin then remind front desk in person later that u are still waiting

AAA is okay (qualified stay). Here is what loews says about getting the welcome gifts:

A qualified stay or qualified night is at any published rate. Group, negotiated, third party and advanced purchase rates do not apply. Not valid with any other discount program, coupon, complimentary or promotional offer.

Rates like ENT or FAN are the stays that might not get the cookies!
