We just returned from a 7 night stay at POP and have a few comments. The resort is real cute!!! I didn't find it ugly, but rather liked the look of the place and my DS loved this place. Check in time took about 20 mins. We were located in the 80's section 4th floor poolside and had connecting rooms w/ my BIL. We were across from Roger Rabbitt in room 9402. The room was definitely big enough for the 3 of us--didn't have problems w/getting our luggage in the room or anything like that
. We had no big problems w/noise--heard no conversations. On occasion we could hear traffic outside the room--we couldn't even hear my BIL family w/the connecting door. The walk to the food court was about 5 mins-- to the buses we cut through the parking lot and it was close. The resort was very busy and the buses were great!! We barely ever had to wait even 10 mins. Buses back from the parks were pretty good too. My DS and DN loooooved the pool--we stayed in the computer pool and the water was wonderful. The weather was high 70's-80's so the heated pool was nice. The arcade is big w/lots of games and yep, we sure spent some time in there!! The CM's were fun and helpful. Mousekeeping was excellent--got a couple of towel creations--and the room was kept spotless. No probs w/foreign hairs or dirty linens
. We paid I think $79 nt w/a code.
The foodcourt was okay. My only "gripe" is here. Breakfast was good w/ample selections and tasty food. Lunch and dinner did get mighty old awfully quick IMHO. We tried lots of different things but the food wasn't to our liking and we're not too picky. The pizza wasn't very good (we didn't like anything w/their brand of tomato sauce). The coffee is awful
(Nescafe is not good and it's everywhere). We did like the chicken caesar salad and the burgers/chicken strips. The desserts are another subject--yum!! Especially the lunar cheesecake which is my favorite. The mugs were a great value.
All in all, we would definitely stay here again. Any questions feel free to ask.
