Just got back from Gymnastics with DD....

.....and boy, am I tired! I think it was more work for me than for her. LOL! She loved it though and it was nice to burn off some of her energy.

Trampoline and balance beam were her favorite things. She also liked doing the parachute at the end. I actually had to go under and drag her out because she would not come out. She was .

I'm glad your daughter liked gymnastics. My daughter started gymnastics when she was 2yr 4ms, old. She just loved it. At 2 she was hanging off the top of the swingset by her knees, so we said if you are going to hang, you might as well do it with the proper equipment.
She just now left the gym and she is 16 yrs old. So we spent a lot of hours at the gym.
Gymnastics is a fun exercise program for kids.

Glad ya'll had a great time. We happen to be big supporters for gymnastics. My oldest DD, now 10, started in 2nd grade as a favor to a friend (she didn't want to go by herself). The friend quit after 3 months and my DD has been competing since 3rd grade! She loves it and is very dedicated ( she spends 15 hours a week at the gym). She is an awesome student - all A's and she's in accelerated classes for all subjects. She will only eat healthy food. My youngest DD, just turned 6, is on the pre-team. I'm glad she likes gymnastics, too, 'cause she didn't have much choice since we're already there so much, lol. Gymnastics is so good for all over fitness, is non-competitive (our oldest DD only competes with herself... trying to raise her previous scores), and it's FUN. Hope you have a great time with it!!

Glad that she enjoys it! My DD4 has been going since before she was two - when we did the mom and tot class. I also got quite a work-out from that. Now she's in a class with 5 other girls and they all love it. Balance beam, bars, trampoline, obstacle course and foam pit. It's hard to get her to leave...
