we had a wonderful time and couldn't have picked a better villa to stay at, it was awesome!
Highlights:
DS was chosen to be a Jedi in training and got to fight Darth Vader:bitelip:
DD went to BBB and the had the castle package, she was treated like a princess all day and also picked to lead the guests up the stairs in the castle for lunch ( she didn't stop grinning all day):cloud9:
Bahama breeze was a fab place to eat
Golden Coral is still great value for money ::yes::

Low light: we were really looking forward to eating in Bubba Gumps, the setting was really cool but the service and food was way below par :(

Best advice:Buy fishing scales from walmart and take a gang socket for charging electricals

outgoing 3 lightly packed cases, coming back 5 fully loaded cases, need i say more:blush: :rolleyes1

Anyone who is going soon with any questions, please ask

Welcome back! Sounds like you had a great time, where was the villa you stayed in?

Everyone had a brilliant time by the sounds of things
Welcome home :woohoo:

We stayed at Crescent lakes off Poinciana Bvld. It was a little bit out, but the setting made the little extra time in the car well worth it ::yes::

glad you all had a great time!! :wizard: :) :wizard:
fishing scales are on my list to buy! what weight did yours go up to??

22 kg, but you could tell how far over they went because they went past the 1kg mark(if that makes sense?). Our luggage allowance was 23kg, so I was happy to have a bit of slack in case Virgins scales were different iykwim. We paid about $5 from walmart, excellent buy, took all the worry away, and we can use them next time( already starting to plan 2010 :rolleyes1 )

What a great idea the fishing scales are! How much do they themselves weigh?
Will you be doing a trippie?

They don't weigh much at all, maybe a few ounces... nothing to worry about, they are really quite small.
I would love to do a trippie, but i really don't think i will find the time:worried:

Could you tell me more about this please? DH is a big Star Wars fan and even my DS who is 3 likes it too and I'm sure he would love to have a lightsaber duel :)

Thanks

Tracy x

To get picked to become a "youngling" Jedi in training you need to arrive at the stage right next to Star Tours about 10 mins before show time. Wear a bright t-shirt and get your DS to jump up and down like mad shouting "pick me!". Cast member told us to stand on the left hand side of the stage, and this worked he finally got picked (on the 5th try), but it was incredible and well worth the effort, we got some excellent pictures and Darth Vader was really in character and very scarey!

Sounds like you had a magical time, welcome home.

Laur's princess:

Wow, it sounds like you had a magical trip.
