Just got back. Thanks for the help you gave me before we left. Was wondering if I could do the same for anyone leaving soon.
Overall weather was hot. Sun and heat hit you by 9 am and it was 90's from 10 am until 7 pm every day. Had to use the strategy to do the indoor rides and shows midday, afternoon break, etc with the 2 kids. They still ended up with slight heat rashes. Crowds were manageable. Our short stay caused us to be in parks that had extra hours, MK on Oct 1st, etc, but if you do fast pass, are there at opening etc it still is very manageable.
We did the Halloween party last Friday night. The parade and fireworks are the big draw. You definitely want to be in position to see the front of castle to see all the effects. I thought I heard a witch comes down the wire simliar to Tinker Bell so we were off on the side and missed a lot.
We used the dining plan and as everyone stated it is more than you can eat. For the 4 of us we typically used 3 counter credits at a time for lunch. He did character and shows to use the extra credits up.
Our son is autistic so we can answer any disability questions as well.
