Just got back and SOOO ready to go again...who is with me??

I am. Last trip was October and now my annual pass is expired and I am dying, not having a trip planned. Hoping to spur of the moment swing something this summer.

Oh my I am with you!,we have not done DL In like 10 years and we are going back this July but I know all about that. We have the same Issues with WDW. We get back from a trip we are right back planing for our next trip even If we do not know when. This way we,we are always at the land of the Mouse!.

Our passes expired last month and we were able to get one last trip in. I am plotting how soon we can get there this year. We complete our Give a Day service tomorrow, so hoping we can put those towards renewing our APs later this year! It makes me happy when there is a trip on the calendar that I can plan for!

Kayla's mom--We've "chatted" on here in the past, haven't we? I feel like we have done trips at similar times, and I am here in HOT AZ with you!! (LHC though, not PHX!)

Anyway, we're working on a United Way halfway house for single moms...painting/refurbing apartments for them to move in to. Exterior trash clean up, weeding, "minor roof repair" (I'll leave that one to DH!)

It's a city-wide GADGAD day though...LOTS of the local schools, churches, etc. are taking part....so it worked out well for us...ESPECIALLY since DD JUST turned 6 eight days ago!!

How about you guys down there in PHX?

I think we have chatted before! We made "treasure boxes" for teachers filled with school supplies. We have to drop them off tomorrow. It sounds like I am getting off pretty easy for my GAD service, compared to yours.

How nice that your DD just barely made it, to be able to participate! My oldest gets to at least!

LOL! DH and I are both teachers!!! LOL!!! That's too funny...send those treasure boxes our way!! ;-) That does sound easy...we'll see if ours lasts a whole day or not...I know others have been done (doing other activities around locally) in half a day or less. AND they are providing lunch for us, so that's super nice!

And same w/ me...my oldest gets to participate and get her voucher...but DS (not ever 4 yet) gets to hang out at Nana & Papa's tomorrow...and then we get to pay for him when we go in May! LOL! Oh well, I'm thankful to be able to even do this...it's fabulous!!

I'm with you!

I am a fairly high-strung person - just as I feel like I'm winding down, relaxing and enjoying the trip -- it's time to come home.

It's always a bit depressing coming home from a trip. Someone mentioned it, but we also try to plan trips well in advance so that we have something to look forward to. Often we have to cancel the trip, but we make the reservation and try to do it.

Right now we have reservations for a late March trip ... not sure if we'll be able to do it, but we'll try and we have that to look forward to!

My 2 year old daughter and I are so with you!!! We went in June and we both want to go back every day. We talk about it everyday. DH keeps laughing and says go, but we can't go without him He cracks up when he sees me on the board, he knows I have the bug. Hopefully we will be there in June again. At least that is the plan. Hope you make it back soon!!!

It's a sickness really. It's gotten so bad that Disney is all I think about. I get so depressed when we don't have a trip planned.

We did WDW over Christmas and I wanted to go to DL for spring break and Dh didn't want to. He needed a Disney break. What??

But happy days are here again because we've got a June DL trip planned to use our GAD passes. We have to go to use those!! I've got my evil plan a brewin' though...... I plan to upgrade those when we get there to AP's!! Bwa, aaaa, aaaa!!! (Shhhh, dh doesn't know yet) But it will be such a great deal he won't be able to pass it up! Upgrade the free tickets to AP's and use our almost $400 in Disney rewards dollars to pay for half of the upgrade and we put up the money for the other $500. Ap's costing us out of pocket only $500!!! Where else can you get Ap's that cheap??? Costs less for the AP's than buying 3 day hoppers for one trip!!

Now, we may not get back to DL in Oct like we normally do but perhaps a quick weekend trip will work it's way into our plans sometime next fall/winter and then one more trip in the spring or early summer to use our pass one more time.

It's only a 7 hour drive..... It makes me so happy thinking of the possibility of more trips in the next year...
