Well we got back last night. 8 GLORIOUS days at Port Orleans Riverside. A few things about our trip.

It rained the first 2 days....3 panchos, 1 umbrella is $33
It was coooold the last 2 days......set a new record low while we were there. Glad we took a couple of hooded sweatshirts.

You can do Blizzard Beach when it's only 60 degrees outside and 10 mph wind. :rotfl: The water is warm......the air is NOT!

Crowds were manageable......longest wait was 30mins. Road Tower of Terror 5 times, Rocking Roller Coaster 3 times, Mission Space 4 times (ORANGE!!!!!), Test Track 3 times, Everest 4 times, Space Mountain 5 times, Soarin' 2 times and still road almost every single ride at all parks. We used evening extra magic hours on all but Animal Kingdom. Used Fast Pass maybe 6 times between all the parks. We had our pictures taken with all the characters at Camp Minney/Mickey and never waited more than 15 minutes.

Never waited more than 15 minutes for a bus...AT THE MAIN DEPOT....the East depot was a long wait our first day so we never caught a bus there again.....only got dropped off there. There is no rhyme nor reason to the busses....sometimes saw 3 Epcot busses in a row, or 4 Magic Kingdom busses in a row. :confused3

Room was nice....had towel animals a few days.:wizard:

The 4 GREATEST restaurants in order:
Raglan Road (BANGERS AND MASHED!):thumbsup2
Biergarten (GREAT entertainment, GREAT food & 32oz BEER!:goodvibes )
Whispering Canyon (More fun and good food than you can shake a stick at!)
Kimonos (Out of this world sushi! $178 for dinner will wake you up though!) lol

We also ate at Restaurant Marrakesh (Pretty good food.....the belly dancer makes for good entertainment), Tusker House character breakfast (basic breakfast buffet), Cinderella's Royal Table dinner (Wife's birthday surprise......the slipper, the champagne toast....VERY nice & good food), Big River Grill (Great burgers & even better beers)

We got a 144 pictures on our Photo Pass so the CD was well worth it to us. We took over 700 pictures of our own & a few videos of the fireworks.

Rding on the front of the monorail is really cool :3dglasses you get your picture in the seat and a driver's license.

It's funny.....the Magical Express is so cool, lively, and everyone is happy on the way to the resort. On the way to the airport it's like a morgue :lmao:

Pick a Pearl at Downtown Disney is pretty neat. My wife got a 7.5mm and a beautiful diamond & gold setting. The price??? Well let's just say :scared1:

Disney Quest is cool to killa few hours at Downtown Disney....they have all the retro arcade games. The best part is Virtual Space Mountain....don't get TOO carried away on your design though :rolleyes1 THe simulator has NO MERCY!!!! lol

We saw lots of Year of a Million Dreams ears & Fast Passes but never saw the "Dream Team" or whatever they're called.

That's about it.....this was our first trip.....for 33yr old me, 38yr old wife, and 9yr old son. It went off without a hitch (well maybe the weather). We saw all we wanted to, road all we wanted to, ate all we wanted too and came home with $37 of our budget left :woohoo:

Now what are we going to do with our lives with no more planning? :confused3
LOL

I promised the family next year is DISNEYLAND!!! :goodvibes

If you guys have ANY questions I'll be try my best to answer them all

Thanks for the update and glad y'all had a good time. I was wondering the crowds. We're leaving Sunday!

Great report! Glad you had a good time. We must have been there about the same time.
