Alright Fellow Dis'ers I need your advice and help about my new Iphone.

It is the 3G that was in my budget and so far I am very happy with it. Only had it 24 hours but its very new to me.

Any advice on upkeep, ways to keep it in one piece.

Any Disney Apps that I should download? I really am not sure what to download or not.

It really is an amazing invention.

Get an Otterbox for a case! You can find some reasonably priced ones for the 3G on Amazon (ordered mine a few weeks ago).. just be sure it's a real Otterbox!

Congrats on your new baby!! Er.. I mean phone. Yeah. :thumbsup2 (my phone is like my baby..seriously, it's sad,)

Lots of great Apps! Disney has wait times and restaurant menus on Apps called WDW Maps and WDW Dining. Swan and Dolphin has their own App. We found them immensely helpful on our last trip. (And of course you can put your favorite Disney tunes on the iPod. :goodvibes )

Another App I really like is Around U, which tells you what things are around you from any location. Handy when you're in an unfamiliar area. I also like Maps, Genius Scan (scan any item for price), Flikster Movies (what's playing and trailers) and others. Different ones are free every day.

NNJ I phone lover here. It's so fun!!!!
I have some games, Zillow, Google, Jet Blue and I few others downloaded.

Congrats!
As far as Disney apps go, I have WDW Wait Times which is nice.
I've been seeing commercials for Mobile Magic, which I guess is an official Disney app and looks really cool! I was actually about to go download it as I watched the commercial and then heard "only for Verizon" :headache: So if you have Verizon, go for that one but I couldn't get it because I have AT&T so I'm not sure how good it really is.

Thank you everyone for the new apps.

Besides Disney any other Fun Apps, I'm not into Twitter but love Entertainment and I am very much involved in Travel.

I also wanted to ask if anyone took the warrenty as well? Its a one time fee and I have 30 days to decide ( I got the phone yesterday ) It's $70 and I do feel that I should take it.

For Disney apps I love the upoint park maps and the WDW dining app. For other general apps I love the Quickoffice app, this allows you to open email attachments in word, excell etc. For travel I use the trip advisor app.

I love my iPhone. I even sleep with it. It never leaves my side :) Besides the Disney Apps I have Pandora (which I can not live with out now), Facebook, twitter, the flashlight, Angrybirds, words with friends, weatherchannel, fandango, flickster, red box, and the list goes on.

I forgot another app that I love....the mirror!!!!

Lipstick, $$$$ & Iphone & off you go!

It's not around u--it's AroundMe. Also Urbanspoon. TripAdvisor if you travel a lot. MapQuest, Google, Facebook, Starbucks, MouseWait. One thing you won't be able to do is send pictures to e-mails if you have the 3G. You can take pictures but not e-mail them to anyone.

If lovin' my iPhone is wrong I don't wanna be right. :). I love it, I know you will too!!! Between that & the iPad, it's a wonder I get anything done. :)

Welcome to the club!

Absolutely get a case for it! Otterbox is probably the best one made...they even come in cool colors like hot pink, purple etc... As soon as I got an iPhone, I got an Otterbox (Defender series). I drop stuff, I knock stuff off, I need that kind of protection.

I love my iPhone so much, I used to have one on AT&T, but I jumped to Verizon a while back and got a Droid. While the Droid IS a good phone, it is just not an iPhone, and I missed it so dearly. When iPhone came to Verizon, I knew I HAD to have one and couldn't wait, so I ended up selling off my Droid and stuff and buying the iPhone 4. It felt like HOME when I started using it. :lovestruc I was like how did I live without this thing?

As far as Apps go, I don't do a lot of apps, I got a free wine app called "Hello Vino" eBay, Netflix, Facebook and Farmville.

iPhones are definitely a portrait of awesomeness!

Any good Disney Trivia or game apps????

i have the free version, but it's called where in disney world?

it has pic's and you have to choose. there's a few detailed shots and i can't figure them out!

i have the disney app (it's free)
radio disney
disney movies
toy story 3 (there's 2 of them, both free apps)
wdw hours/waits
fairies lite.

my favorite games are (i only d/l free apps)
cat physics (it was free, not sure now)
apple shooting (shooting apple off guy's head...MUAHAHA!)
reMovem (free)
pickin' sticks (pick up sticks!!)
coin dozer
glass tower 2
ow my balls (yes...those balls!)
skee ball
mahjong DF

i also love the walgreens app. it's really cool to hold the pill bottle bar codes up to the app and it orders your med's. OMG best invention ever!!

my toddler loves
alphabet zoo
toddler teasers
phone tap (key pad that makes the dialing noises)
photo touch farm animals
sprout (tv channel)
finger basketball
first words
mini piano

my 2 year old can work my iphone 4 better than i can!!

One of my favorite apps is CardBank....it holds all of your store loyalty cards. You choose the store, then enter in your loyalty card number and it's stored on your phone. I got my iPhone on Saturday, and tested it out on Sunday at my grocery store. ALl I had to do was go into Cardbank, bring up my Kroger card and the cashier was able to run my phone display over the scanner.

Now I can get rid of the mess on my keychain (well, except for the fact that the display will not scan atthe Kroger gas pumps....).

I have also keyed in my Gymboree rewards card, Hallmark card, YMCA member card, AAA membership.......

Other apps I use are Foursquare. On my old phoen I had to just text in where I was to Foursquare, but now I find with the app that some store will give you a discount or have a special when you "check-in" and another check-in type of app that I use is Gowalla. Kinds like a Geocaching game, int he sense that they have designated "trips" for one to accomplish. There are several for WDW. One trip is called "For the Little Ones" and you check-in when you are riding things like Peter Pan, Dumbo, etc and you earn a badge. We have a trip to Disney at the end of May/beginning of JUne and I'll be playign along with Gowalla earning badges.

That sounds great! I have a separate keychain full of those stupid cards!
