I am so excited that I was able to grab a room at Miracosta for 2 nights in January 2026. I am taking my 24 year old daughter with me. Any tips on the restaurant reservations or must do rides? We only want to do Tokyo Disney Sea on day 2 so we have more time to wander around Tokyo on day 1 (check in date).

I am thinking of reserving Oceano dinner buffet on day 1. Any tips so we can have a good view of the night time show? It seems that my booking window is 3 months out.

On day 2, should we book the hotel breakfast or just grab stuff at the park?

Thank you!

For breakfast, the hotels do have pretty good buffets. It depends on how much you want to eat in the morning vs grabbing a snack and getting in the park early. Keep in mind that a lot of people rope drop park opening to get the priority passes they want, which you can't book until you're inside the park.

Magellan's in DisneySea is a fantastic restaurant if you want dinner for your park day. I would also recommend Royal Banquet of Arendelle. TDR also releases more restaurant reservations the day before, in case you can't get one at the 3 month window.

Must do rides are everything in Fantasy Springs, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and Tower of Terror. Other great ones are Indiana Jones (very similar to the one in California), Sinbad's Storybook Village, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and Soarin.
