Are the chances of getting a pin better once you book a package? In other words we were not going to be able to book until February for our summer vacay so we probably won't get one until then.. Just wondering if anyone has gotten a pin just while they were researching and saving quotes on the disney website without actually booking yet...

Yes - I did. I've been looking/researching packages for about a year while planning our October 2012 trip. Saved a few, but not extensive. We got a mailer last week with the 30% discount offer. It seems to cover most of the year for Value & Moderate, but has bigger gaps for Deluxe. I booked a Fort Wilderness Cabin for 8 nights in October and saved over $900!

It is Dec. 24th & I got a Christmas gift from Mickey! We received the GAME ON post card for 30% in June. I was waiting & waiting for this. Even if we can take a short trip we are thrilled. We are even considering ASMO because of it being newly renovated. My DS(11) & I have always been interested in staying at ASMO so great deal for us.

We received the GAME ON pin for August on 12/25 ... but it was only for 10% off. I've been saving room only quotes for a few months now. I requested a vacation planning DVD last week though ... wondering if that trigger the pin.

I got this pin code (30% for our family) for the month of June & they are telling us we can't use it for POR. There is nothing on my postcard stating that there are exceptions besides on the Deluxe (AKL or WL only).

magalex: why did they say you couldn't use it for POR?? I ask this because we are looking for a PIN code for June and POR is where we would like to stay! Thanks!

We are asking for June 6th-14th & they are saying they are not giving any discounts for that time period for Riverside but I received a postcard with discount for all resort levels for June 1-30 2012. The postcard is not an advertisement for the Spring Offer which has restrictions & I understand that promotion. Nothing in small print besides the selection of the deluxe level. It is almost a bait & switch. I am going to try ASMO quote just to see if they say Oh no that is newly renovated not giving that one either. But they would say "you can stay at the Sports with the unruly teenagers."
