Just Got a Pin Code....Wrong Dates..Rats!

Just got a pin code in the mail and was sooooo excited...until I saw that the dates were from 8/3-9/27 (room only, $59/night in value). I called just in case the dates could be extended....we're going in October. The CM said no, there were no dates for October yet and this pin was very specific for the dates listed. She stressed that I should book now for an October trip, however, as October fills quickly because of the Halloween festivities...told her I'd take my chances and wait.

Hope someone else who can use the code gets it too!

Same thing here, sort of.
We got one good through 8/2/08 in a moderate.
We only need/want a value and won't be coming until afer Labor Day. Figures we finally get a pin code and it's not at the right time!

We got the 8/3-9/27 PIN code too, but already have free dining for our Sept trip, so I called to see if the dates could be extended and was also told no that this code had very specific dates and that it was also showing up on his screen that it was room only and could not have the DDP added onto it, to make it a pkg. I'm talking about buying the DDP, not the free dining. I asked him to please check that, he put me on hold and came back a few minutes later to tell me that this code was specific for room only for just those dates and could not be modified to add dining. He also said he didn't know why the computer shot out this particular code for that time frame as free dining was a better deal for us, even if we wanted a Deluxe resort. I had him check prices anyway and the only thing showing up for our dates (Sept 6th-14th) was a courtyard view at WL and a standard view at AKL. No Values and no Moderates were available for that code for those dates and he was right free dining was a better deal. Of course we are three adults, so have to pay for the extra person in the room. Free dining for three people beat the PIN Code.

Really the PIN Code was in my mom's name (she lives with me and is going with us). I'm the one that goes to WDW 3-5 times a year, while she's only been three times her entire life and yet she gets a PIN code, while I've never gotten one. I had one very excited 74 y/o mom the other day.
