Just got a nice little package from Disney . . .

We'll be going in November and Disney just sent a little folder with some mini park maps tucked inside, suggestions of what attractions to see, "you expressed interest in this", etc. Very nice, cute, and yes, very tailored to a prior conversation I'd had with a CM.

Except it said we'd be there during the Happiest Celebration on Earth, which ends a month prior.

I have to call this afternoon to set up Magical Express, so that CM is going to get a little fun and good-natured ribbing.

I remeber getting this last year and liked it. Especially the holder to keep everything in. We go in a couple of months and I have not received anything like that yet.

I received one about a month ago and we don't leave until 9/30/06. Not sure what triggers you getting it.....

I just got that little packet yesterday! was thinking about mentioning it here, was so cool that it is personalized with our name, and as posted, it is tailored for our December trip, Disney has printed on it that they are looking forward to us coming in December...There are pics of new attractions, as well as the Christmas party. My family thinks that I have totally lost it now. Disney KNOWS us!!!

We got one too! We are booked through AAA, but I had called WDW directly and booked one night prior to our package starting. I've always booked through AAA before, so I've never gotten this little treasure...but I was so thrilled! It has one booklet with all the mini maps inside. It's wonderful! (I since canceled my one night because AAA came through and was able to add that night to our free dining package...but I'm NOT giving my booklet back!!) I was going to post about it too but figured everyone and his brother/sister/grandma would have already received one (nothing worse than posting about old news... ).

I wonder what triggers them being sent out...

I got one too- neat! Too bad I've since changed resorts- haven't received a new one yet. Nothing majorly new in them, but the small park maps are pretty cool. The packets are a neat idea!

I also got one too. I had cancelled our ressie with SOG and just took the rack rate through the Disney website for POP and maybe not even 2 weeks later we had a little folder thing with a few brochures on the inside. About 1 week after that I got a plastic folder that has our itenerary and some coupon things for our trip next week. I put our ME and luggage info on the inside as well as the itenerary I printed off the website. I like the little plastic thing, hope I get that next time I book!

We booked our Dec trip a few months back and havn't received anything except a confirmation letter(we booked through disney). But we still havn't paid it off in full.

I wanna be special too lol

We've always gotten one of these too...I love using some of the stuff for the scrapbook (since it says your family name on it). Sadly, we booked thru AAA this year so we won't be getting it.

We stayed at CBR last June and didn't get one.
We stayed at POFQ in January and did get one.
I booked a trip for September back in April and still haven't got one.
Too bad. I love those. They do make for good scrapbook material.

I got one when I booked, too (but before it was paid in full). I started out booking on the website, but it jammed and I ended up speaking with a live CM to book my trip. Maybe you have tp actually speak with someone? If it helps, I booked in January for a trip in September.

I got one when I booked. It is fun to get in the mail.
I liked getting it before we were married because it would always say "The So-and-so Family" and it would crack me up. (Because that was just his name at the time.)

i got one last yr adn not this year i think you get one if it's your first time staying at the resort and you say so.

I booked online June 2 for Sept 5-10, paid in full and haven't gotten anything - no confirm, receipt, etc.

I need to call and add ME - do you think a CM will send the package if I ask nicely!!!!!!! preeeeetty pleeeeezzze!!!!

We booked in December and paid in full, after which we received a confirmation letter about a week later.

Several phone calls later (ADR's, ADR changes, trying several times to get Pop and being told it was full when it wasn't) we finally got switched to Pop and got another confirmation about a week later (which amazingly also had our room requests printed on it, holy cow!)

Called last week to book HDDR. Packet arrived today and specifically mentioned dinner entertainment as something we asked about, so I believe it was that call that triggered it.
