Not a bad deal, but we booked our November trip with our 40% off PIN... :thumbsup2

Is that for room only or package? $105/nt for a Value resort doesn't seem like much of a deal for that time of year.

I recieved the same PIN. I am under the impression that the $105.00 is for a package (if not, you are right Salinger, not much of a deal).
It looks as though it is another PIN directed toward Canadians but IMO, with the high exchange rate, Disney will have to do a little better.
Thank goodness I received the 40% PIN, it's a much better deal.

I just got pretty much the same thing today (I got it for requesting a resort video).

The only thing different about mine was it said $82/night, I'm assuming thats just the room, but I thought that was the price anyways..... (sept)

But the 20% off my current ressy would be nice :)

I paid $74 for POP room only in during Ontario's March Break.

Yes, I got this, excited to be getting a Pin! CAlled to get a quote and compared it with the original price I had gotten (no discounts). The 105 is room only, the 20% off is on the room portion of the package.

Ok so do the math here... I BELIEVE that rooms are about $178 for CBR. 20% is 34.80 right? The quote I got gives me a savings of about $11 a night. I didn't realize this until I was off the phone.

So Im confused as to why the difference is so high.

I WAS excited over the email... until that. I mean, $55 savings is $55 savings...But...seriously. That isn't going to make or break us.

I want that 40% pin, know how you were able to get one? lol

I know, not much of a deal! But it's the first PIN to reach my e-mail. ;) DH was lucky to get the 40% PIN, which we used for our upcoming POLY trip. :thumbsup2

The 40% PIN came out last October and it expired on March 31.

How do you get one???? No one knows. The best plan is to sign up for everything online that you can. I got the 40% and it was addressed to me by my full name which is what I use on my disneyworld.com log in.

I don't think that seems like much of a deal either, considering the regular rate that time of year for a Value is $82 for a standard room. Even CAA offers a 15% discount for Value resorts during Value season and 20% off for Moderates during Value season......so what am I missing here? :confused3

My TA called and found out the 20% is for the room only, but I can't use it with the free dinning anyways, so the free dining is a better deal than the 20% off the room..... I don't get why they even sent this, lol (they knew I was planning for Sept, and even mentioned it in the email)

Silly disney

Silly disney

they're hoping to get you back down there yet again!! Don't they know we're in a recession?! :rotfl:

Sure wish I could get a pin - I think my name has been in their system since 1986 - not even a hint of a pin so far.

HA! good luck to that, I'm lucky if we even get to go in Sept!
DH is hard to convince since he's a penny pincher. But I've been telling him that I've got almost $900 saved up in PayPal (I make and sell cloth diapers and childrens knit clothing online). And so it won't cost as as much as it seems lol.

He's of the type that thinks disney is for kids, lol. I told him he can go to the pool and shows and stuff and not just hang out with mickey
