Just got a new breadmaker

I'm already making my second batch of cinnamon buns. At the cost of cinnamon buns around here ($2.40 per bun) I'll have paid for the bread maker in a few months. There wasn't much selection in breadmakers and I got a Black-n-Decker.
Another hour and I will be warming my buns.

I LOVE my bread maker. DD 4.5 loves pizza, and my machine has a pizza dough setting. DD loves it because she gets to make her own pizza.

Cinnamon buns are also awesome!!

We do Pizza all the time we like it so much more than any commercial pizza!

Anybody have a good basic recipe for bread machine bread or a recommendation for a cook book? We got a bread maker a few years ago and used the recipes in the book that came with the bread maker and they were awful, so we really haven't used it as much as we expected to.

all bread machines need a percise ......measurement......it can not be off at all.......so when you measure your liquids....put it at eye level so you can see if it is right on the mark.....the flour should be spooned out into the cup measurement ....and then level it off......the same with the yeast and all the stuff you put in....after a while it is like a second arm and you do it automatically......but the measurements have to be exact.......I will post some recipes on the recipe board......

My sister was unhappy with her bread maker & gave it to me. I love it!!

Our favorites are pizza/stromboli dough and an Italian pull-apart recipe similar to Monkey Bread. Yum!

I've never tried cinnamon buns, though. Would you share your recipe?

I have yet to make anything but your basic white bread. But I love it there is nothing better than fresh baked bread.

I had my mil over for dinner yesturday and made a roast chicken, scalloped potatoas, corn, and fresh hot bread, theres nothing like it.

You can make cinny buns in the breadmaker? Don't tell DH or he'll be begging me daily! (Is it hard? What's the recipe?)

RECIPE BOARD......I want to save some of yours too.......I also am going to start looking for a 2 lb machine too.....my little one makes one and one and a half ...but it is seven years old and still works like a charm
