Just got a great AP deal in the mail

Doesn't do us any good but I thought I'd pass it on. If your pass is up for renewal you can get a 2-park power pass for $115, a PAP for $150 and a Premiere for $200. The best of those deals is the Premiere. We just renewed our PAPs through AAA for $145 so it isn't much of a savings for us.

This will also be good for upgrading tickets you already have. Just refer to this deal at the front gate or call 1-866-PASS-4-FUN

I don't consider a renewal for the preferred a deal at $150. I renewed last Oct & I paid $117 with tax. They have raised their rates, they are no deals

Deals are always relative. Next time you go to renew be sure to tell them what you paid for it last October and see if they'll match the price.

yeah right, like they ever would match the price... again, the rates quoted are not any "deals" but their current rates. They are not a promo rate to where you are saving anything.

Well they thought enough of it to send me a mailer. I don't check online Universal rates very often, I have used AAA to renew for as long as I can remember.

Yes they did think of you they sent you that mailer. Maybe they see you go thru AAA & wouldn't know their normal rates... just a thought

OP - I got same deal in mail for pass than expired june '09 past March that was good until end of April this year.

todd - u probably will get one near expiration time...i'd just call if u r due to renew. It states to "please bring mailer to any Front Gate Ticket Windor or refer to mailer when calling" DH's PAP expired end of June this year, he just got same deal. It states it must be renewed (or upgraded) with 30 days of his expiration date to take advantage of special rate & that his AP would be extended one year from the 'current' expiration date.

i don't think AAA in my area (eastern) offers APs or renewals. even their tix prices have jumped to what is now standard sale prices (vs last year when i was still able to get 7 day tix in $70 range) I called AAA & inquired - told Universal said they had to send back all the 'old' tickets near the beginning of this year & a new shipment with higher prices was sent for sales).
