I found a receipt from 1995 from dinner at the Coral Reef.

Two orders of shrimp cocktail $9.95 each
Two sodas $1.75 each
Surf and Turf $32.95
BR-Jumbo (not sure what this is) $21.75
Two orders shrimp bisque $2.25 each
Ice cream $2.50
Cheese Cake $4.95

With tax and tip it came to $113.45

Wonder what it would have cost these days?

Anne

Just kidding I don't know but would be fun to see how much price has increased.::yes:: :wave2:

I think the menu may have changed, because this is all I found on Deb's site:

Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail - chilled shrimp, cocktail sauce $10.00
Strawberry Cheesecake - cheese cake with strawberry tart $7.00

Anyone else got more info?

Wow, I think that would be really fun to check. We ate at Coral Reef in 1994, still have the receipt because the price was such a shock-$122 for lunch, without tip. I'll have to dig out that receipt (we just moved-I know it's here somewhere) and try to calculate today's prices. Thanks for the idea!
