Just for fun... how to drive demand for SSR

A friend works at the Preview Center at SSR and said a woman, her mom and her daughters came in to tour and the woman had a little "foo-foo" white, fluffy dog under her arm. When asked, the woman said, "Yes, it's a service dog". But the "service dog" was wearing a flowered, ruffled, pink dress!! Now have you EVER seen a service animal wearing anything other than a harness or vest designating it as a service animal??? I LOVE, LOVE my sweet dog and it would be hard to find a bigger animal lover than myself, but REALLY people??? Mercy. I just pray I never come across a service snake. It might end up in several pieces….. :crazy2: Because snakes are very bad for my health…..

I deal with that all the time!!! I work retail and people are always trying to pass off their dog as a service animal!!:sad2:They have been completely unruly too!! One of my places of employment had a salon and it is a health code violation!!!

The LAST time I stayed at a pet friendly hotel there was dog poop under the desk!!! (Let's just say...it looked like it had been there for a while!:crazy2::crazy2::crazy2:

I am NOT advocating pets at DVC (I don't even own a dog or pet) - I just suggested making the carrousel (most remote building at SSR) into a pet friendly DVC as I know pet owners that are crazy for their pets and would want to stay there with that feature and LOTS of people have ADA handicap dogs that they bring in anyway.

I like your suggestion, DVC Doctor. There have been some people who wanted to join DVC but since it is pet-free, they continue to bring their RV to stay at the pets-allowed loops at Ft. Wilderness campground….

Dean I love you(well your posts aleast) but why is everyone trying to drive up the numbers at MY SSR. The more people there the busier MY pools will be, the busier MY buses will be, the busier MY restaurant will be. Just stop it. And if you do I will take MY tongue in cheek out.
Thanks
ps. I really do love MY SSR, but can share with all
I know there's a certain amount of levity there but to address the more serious side of the issue you raise. There are many things I have posted over the years that DADT would have served me personally better than saying anything. I'm just not built to keep secrets for my own benefit. And the reality is that IF there were a shift that evened out the demand at SSR compared to the higher demand resorts, it'd free those up somewhat.
