It looks fabulous except that Friday is usually early entry at MK. You should skip bkfast that day and hit the park early in order to ride all the rides before 10 with no lines.

Were you going to take a carriage ride at 6, and Boma at 6:30? Or is that just when the carriage rides begin and you are thinking of doing them afterwards? Or is there a typo on the time? Only I don't think you could take a carriage ride at 6 at Ft. Wilderness and then go to Boma at AKL for 6:30 dinner.

Having participated in the 1/2 marathon last year, leaving Sunday open is a good thing. You'll probably want a nap after being up at the crack of dawn, even if you aren't physcially ruined from the race ;) However, you may be stuck without a room till 3 or 4PM since you are transferring hotels that day. Hmmmm, maybe a nap by the pool? Dinner at Boma that night is a great idea. Be sure and get some protein shortly after the race though.

I'd change that Friday breakfast to Crystal Palace, maybe around 10:30AM, so you can get to the park early, hop on the best rides then break for a breakfast buffet that can hold you over till your great Calif Grill dinner (well, with a little snack maybe in between).

Do you not have the park hopper option on your ticket? If not it's only $35 and I love the idea of blasting over to Epcot for a bit if MK gets crowded. I've been know to leave MGM just to go over to World Showcase in Epcot for a sugar free chocolate mousse at Norway. It offers you lots of flexability in case there has to be a change in your plans (like weather or illness). Just a suggestion. My first three trips and the most recent one were all in January, it's a great time to go ::yes::

Are you sure you want to leave the confirmation number in a public forum such as this? If someone happens to get your contact information and is REALLY bored, they can mess up your ADRs.

There's a spot to click "edit" down at the bottom right of your original post. It will open your post up into the screen like when you first typed it.

Just done it! Thanks everyone for pointing that out. I will reconfirm with Disney just to be sure my ressies have not been tampered with.

Hi Tonya,
The only thing I might say is that being from the uk myself, what normally happens is that I'm up at the crack of dawn on day one, but need to crash by mid afternoon, just to make up for time difference. You might need a back up plan incorporating a rest that first afternoon. Otherwise it looks really good. I was there exactly the same time earlier this year and crowds were just perfect, not dead but not too crowded either, you will have a great time. Good luck with the marathon,

Claire xx

Segway Tour 8:30 am

You're going to love the Segway Tour, just remember to keep your knees flexible, so you don't end up with stiff legs in the end.

Don't forget fast passes, and Soarin you have to do soarin in Epcot.

If you decide to forego breakfast at WC for early entry at MK that Friday, do try and change your reservations to have breakfast there another day. We truly enjoyed that meal on our last trip - excellent service, very good food, and reasonable, too! It may only have been 7:30 AM, but the waitstaff was already having fun with the patrons, including a few who possibly wished their relatives hadn't mentioned they were celebrating birthdays ... :)

Your itinerary looks wonderful - have a great time and good luck at the marathon!

:sunny: Hi

Your itinary looks great. You will love  the segway tour sooooo much fun. Good advice from lovemickey about the knees. ;)

I would change dinner at Rose and crown. Didn't rearly enjoy the food and the view from the terace wasn't the best. I would eat earlier or even after Illuminations and get in a good position early to watch. We stood along the waters edge at the entrance to Word showcase and had a fab view. If you did eat later try going over to the Boardwalk.

Have a great trip :goodvibes

Good luck at the marathon! You are smart to leave the kids at home for this trip. I made the mistake of bringing mine when I ran the marathon. It was my first one, and I didn't realize how I'd feel afterwards. My family had no mercy, and I was over at MK right after I showered (right after the marathon.) That night, I couldn't take it and went back to the hotel by myself (in tears). Take your time to rest and enjoy your trip. It sounds wonderful!

:sunny: Hi

Seeing as you don't have the children with you this trip why not plan a night at Jellyrolls, great night time entertainment. You won't be able to go next trip with the children. You could walk to the Boardwalk to jellyrolls after your dinner at Le Celler.

Have a great trip :goodvibes

What's Jellyrolls? :flower:

:sunny: Hi

Jellyrolls is a dueling piano bar. Basically it has 2 pianos and the guys take requests for tips. Great live music, never been to anything similar in the uk. Great fun we went 3 times!! :goodvibes

Check it on allears.com. There is a separate admission charge the you can't charge to your room.

Have fun ;)
