Just filled up for $1.79 a gallon!!!!

I am so happy. I needed to fill up both cars this weekend before the big snow starts tonight. Anyhow-- we live about 5 miles from an indian reservation. The gas is usually about $.25 cheapers a gallon there. Anyhow- tonight I was able to fill up for $1.79 a gallon. There is a station that traditionally runs sales right before the holiday. It only cost me $25 to fill up the SUV that was running $45 just 2 months ago!!!

I'm glad you got a realtive "deal" considering the recent prices, but this is exactly what the oil companies are hoping for ...that Americans forget that gas was $1.15 only a year and 1/2 ago. $1.75 is no deal compared to that. Gee, I wish my salary had nearly doubled in a year and 1/2....

And here I was happy to see our gas prices drop to $2.18/gal finally after seeing it at $3 for so long. You got a great price!

The thing that kills me is, it's cheaper to fill up at Disneyworld than it is here, by about 20 cents/gal. If it didn't take gas to get there & back, I'd be driving there to fill up instead.

Wow, i'm impressed!

Here in Palm Beach County, the price has dropped some but not as much as at other places. Heck, even ON DISNEY PROPERTY I paid $2.18... the cheapest i've paid here is $2.52

Stupid gas station near where I work has been 2.08 for the last 3 days. I waited in line last night and tonight only to get to the pumps and hear they had no gas!!! No signs covering the tanks or anything. So there were people there filling up with premium for 2.33 when just down the road it was 2.11...
