Just extended ressies for Thanksgiving

I just lucked out online and managed to extend our Thanksgiving reservation by 3 nights I called Dis Res so I wouldn't have to pay the deposit again by adding it to our current reservation but they were showing no availability for any campsite!!

Well, OK, I'll just click this button on my computer and volia, 3 nights booked from 11/21 - 11/24. YEAH ME!

Happy Dance! Even the carpet fitter fitting the wrong coloured carpet could not dampen my mood!! LOL!

Great time of year for a Disney trip. Like there's ever a bad time for a trip to the Fort! Glad you found a site!

We got our reservations for Thanksgiving also!! I love it there that time of year.

Oh my goodness, you will absolutely love it! You will want to come back every year at the same time, we always do. Some years we think, maybe we shouldn't, but that thought doesn't last long. The Fort is fabulous at that time of year and WDW is especially magical with all the special holiday events. If we're not there for Thanksgiving, our favorite week is the week after Thanksgiving (Dec. 4, 2010). Thanksgiving week is great until Thanksgiving day itself through Saturday morning when it's really crowded. The Friday after Thanksgiving is really unbearable. I would hang out at the Fort that day if you could. Enjoy.

OMG ~ Thank you all!!! My DD got up at 12:30a last night & I couldn't fall back to sleep so I log on to the Dis & I can't' for the life of me figure out how ~ but I saw your thread & thought of my MIL mentioning Disney at Thanksgiving, DH grandparents live in Davenport, 20 mins from Disney, Mil & Fil will stay there & we'd like to stay close but budget friendly.

I looked online & they had 2 nights open at a premium, so I grabbed it!

We'd actually love 4 nights ~ so far no luck w/ Thanksgiving & Friday, we have Sat & Sun (11/27 & 28) any idea if we could lucky & these might open up? Also will anyone have their Christmas decorations up yet?

Anyways I just wanted to say Hi & Thanks!!

P.S. this will actually be our 1st camping trip...ever!

Yeah! This is going to be soo much fun ~ I cannot wait to see how everyone decorates!

I just bought a Mickey Mouse Thanksgiving flag, although still not sure how we'll hang it?

There will be a lot of decorations up at that time. It will be mixed with Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations. We have watched some people take 3 days to set up their campsites, it is just amazing. It is a wonderful time of year!!
