Just dropping by.....

I just wanted to stop by and say hi! Things have been pretty nuts here in the bluegrass state....

It started on the 4th. My step dad got up and was peeing red. Eeep. No one could figure out why. He has had every test and so far no reason. Julias Birthday shabang was a success!

Then week before last he went in for a stress test and ended up being admitted to the hospital. It so *happens* Jared was up staying with them because the following day Mike and I were to fly out to Maine. So our relaxing baby-making weekend got very hairy for awhile.

We got Jared and talked my aunt into keeping all 3 kids (poor schmuck) and planned to keep our flight since his heart cath was scheduled before the flight. About 15 mins prior to boarding we got word he was fine. Has a heart arythmia he has likely had since birth, no biggie. Off we went to Maine (poor aunt keeping kids). We had planned to inseminate.... HOWEVER, my friends cycle didn't agree with our plans. We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend, but no baby-making progress.

We got home on Monday and life has been so very hectic. I am finally getting a homeschool room! Gave the spare bed away and have been blissfully rearranging. Meanwhile we got word from surrogate *NOW* is the time. Off hubby flew yesterday to umm.... *do his thing*. Yep, I am home rearranging and preparing for our homeschool year to begin on Monday and Mike is off knocking up my friend in Maine! Hopefully it will work!

I totally didn't mean to write a book! I just wanted to say hi, REALLY!

I told my hubby a few weeks ago that if this surrogacy works.... we need to think about our 4th through international adoption. Then we would be "experts in non-traditional family growing"! Jared was foster/adopt. Julia was private adoption and this baby will hopefully be surrogacy. Why not, ya kno?

My life could one day be a novel..... Not sure it would be a good one, but there is sure enough to write about.

Hmm no... Not really. Mike has the camera in New England.

Esaie is crawling like *MAD* and pulling up. Ugh! My house is so not babyproof atm. Thankfully Julia likes to follow him around and take things away from him to make him cry....

His cleft surgery is Sept 2nd. He should leave by the first week in Oct. Then we will be down to 2 kiddos. Life will become boring..... or something.

Oh and I got reports tonight of a 2nd baby attempt! Yaaay! 1 more deposit then I get my hubby back! I was thinking.... IF this works. We will find out she is pregnant right about the time Esaie will be out of surgery and a screaming little meanie. I maybe wondering at that time what the he** I was thinking.....

Anyway... thanks for listening, er reading my ramblings. Its still kinda hard since not many ppl in our lives *know* whats going on. Its nice to just *share*.... exactly how nuts we really are!

As for an update.... hubby is home. He did his part and now we wait. 2 weeks of waiting stinks!
