We're staying at Carribean Beach. We just arrived at the Epcot bus stop about half an hour ago to head back to the resort for the day. After about 5 min a bus showed & the 12 or so people at the stop boarded. 3-4 minutes pass & we're still sitting there, I look up front & the bus driver is standing by her seat reading some phamplet & I thought "surely she's not waiting to see if other passengers are gonna show?! Well about 5 min later a man with a large group of family boards the bus, as he's seating all the small kids I hear him say the word scooter & sure enough, two min later grandma rides up on a scooter & they proceed to board her.

There's no way the bus driver saw them coming-so my question is there some little known secret that guests with disabilities can call ahead & have a bus wait on them? I've never seen that happen before!

Maybe I'm wrong? But, I think it was coincidental ...

I'm thinking that a bus must stay at a park stop for a specified time period or until a set time. It was just coincidental that the bus was there waiting while the family pulled up. I've had buses just already sitting there as I got to my resort's bus stop at the park, with or without passengers already boarded.

My understanding is that they wait a certain amount of time unless the bus is packed full.
