I would definitely view them as subtle. There were no major structural renovations like walls being moved or anything like that. Everything just looks 'refreshed.'
Thanks for the reply! Do you know if the units got the flat screen tv's and new appliances? I heard new stoves were in order.
Yes, flat screens & new appliances. They also changed the drapes & bedspread, painted the kitchen table, changed the lamps, carpeting.

We would not call the changes subtle at all - they "hit us" immediately upon walking in. Of course, we stayed in January in an older unit, and the room did not look good. The drawers were broken on the armoire, the couch was stained, the carpet was worn. When we walked into a renovated studio in June, we noticed it immediately. Everything was "fresh" and clean. But the new armoire and tv hit us immediately. I guess everyone's definition is different, but we certainly were impressed.![]()
How much of the property has been renovated/updated? We are arriving on Oct 17, 1-bedroom standard view with a request for an upper floor. I wondered what the chances are for a updated villa?
Thanks!
We just stayed in 3055 - a studio. Our first time at BWV. Our room looked out in the Village Green. Don't think it was renovated. The back of the bedspread was very worn and pilly. The sink had a chip in it. Didn't mind those things that much, but the room definitely had a musty odor to it. That was the one thing that really hit me about the room.
