Just curious- the room rate goes up per child?

I always thought rack rate for the room was based on occupancy for ADULTS and also the time of year you go... but I had no idea it was different for how many children were in the room?
I can see no other explanation of what else it could be- so if you have any ideas, please let me know?

Room alone for All Stars, same days, for 1 adult, 3 children is $10.12 more than it is for 1 adult and 2 children... which is also $10.12 more than it is for 1 adult & 1 child (one adult price at over 9yrs old).

?? What gives on the difference in price there? They charge more per child in the room?

Also- does availability (along with free dining plan) have to do with how many people in your party? It seems that way. (for the same dates) I tried with 1 adult/3 children and was able to book Pop Century- when I knocked that down to 1 adult/2 children or 1 adult/1 child (at adult price) it wouldn't let me choose that option- it would only give us all Stars out of the value resorts.

Ok, if you are getting the dining plan that is what the extra cost is. Its 35 per adult per day and 10 per child per day. So if you have 3 kids and then you change it to 2 kids well then yes it would go down 10 per child per day because they aren't there so they don't need the dining plan.

It has nothing to do with the room.

It sounds like they are doing the free dining plan. I believe the rooms at the Allstars are rates for a 4 person occupancy. If you add another person there is an extra charge per day.
