My 3 YO more often than not wakes up in the morning crying after a full night of sleep. I don't know if it's just that he doesn't like the feeling of waking up or if it's just habit that he cries. I guess I never really thought it was unusual because no one really likes that half-asleep feeling you get when getting out of bed in the morning. I was kind of hoping at his age (3 yrs 4 ms) he'd have outgrown it.
He will naturally wake up anytime between 6:30 - 7:30 and even if i'm not waking him up he'll cry for a good 2 minutes and then he's done.
Anyone else go through this and when does it stop? My 7 YO didn't do this much after his 2nd birthday if at all.
Thanks!

So, I told her exactly what to say: "Mommy, Daddy, I'm awake!" She did it the very next day and still does that most days. Every once in a while she still cries instead.
