Hi folks.
I used this board a lot (in lurk mode) when I was planning our recent trip to WDW. We went at the end of May, staying at Port Orleans French Quarter, but we were only there for a week (it was all the time we could get off work)
Anyway, we loved it so much we're planning on going back in October for two weeks! The missus wants to stay at POFQ again, although we'll probably concentrate on the Universal stuff this time. We're going to use up the remainder of our 5-day Disneyworld hoppers though.
My wife and kids are Muslims and only eat halal meat (well, they eat ordinary fish and veg as well!) If anyone else is in this situation, I can heartily recommend zabihah.com for a list of Halal restaurants in Orlando.
We have a PDA, GPS and Tomtom Navigator 3. The USA maps were supposed to be out in May, but they're still not available. Hoping they're available by October, as it saves a lot of messing around with maps (that usually aren't detailed enough).
So thanks to everyone on this board for making the last planning exercise go well. Here's to the next one
