Just checked in for my flight tomorrow to MCO ~ Going with my daughter but we each have different conf #s since she's flying on a free ticket. So, I checked in on my computer at the exact 24-hr mark and got A23 -- she checked in on her computer at the same exact time and got A47!!! Interesting .......

I'm glad my husband (who's not going with us) will be checking us in for our return trip so I don't have to stay in the room to be on the computer or, worse yet, try to check in at the concierge desk at the exact 24-hr mark!

So, I'm going to be giving this new system a chance, but right at this moment I do like the old way better!! We fly to & from Orlando quite a bit and never have had higher than a #10 on any of those flights - yes, I always used to notice the numbers on the boarding pass

according to the people who post on Flyertalk, the A1-15 boarding passes are reserved for the new Business Select group (higher fares), so your 23 would otherwise have been an 8. The scoop I'm seeing so far on Flyertalk is that there usually are not 15 people using all the Biz Select passes, so you are still in really good shape.
