Just can't talk DH into another trip...HELP!!!!!!!

:tinker: I see no problem in just the 2 of you going. The very first time I took my daughter and that was many moons ago, she was15 months old maybe 18 months, myself, dd and a family friend and her dd took a trip and when dd was in Jr High we did a girls trip with both of our friends. We enjoyed it alot.

I really want to go back this year, we went last year, but DH is not as excited about Disney as I am, even though once he got there and watched our grandsons faces light up he was okay.

I say enjoy the Disney years as much as you can if it will not cause a strain with DH, children grow up way to fast.

Good Luck

How does your DH feel about you taking DD just yourself to Disney? Could you maybe do an inexpensive Disney trip for just you and DD and then another family type vacation not too far from home that would be inexpensive? That way DH could go have a new experience and you could still enjoy DD's "Disney Years".

I understand wanting to take DD soon b/c they do "grow up" quickly. On our trip in Feb. my 6 1/2 yo DD for the first time had not desire to wear a princess gown to the parks or dinner. All her trips prior she wanted to be in FULL princess regalia and couldn't wait to meet a princess at a character meal or meet and greet. This time she wasn't in the hunt for the princesses. Actually she has a new Disney obsession - Tinkerbell and her fairy friends! We've read all the Disney Fairies books together and she loves to draw and write about the. While I'm glad she replaced her princess fascination with another Disney passion, it made me a little sad to see my little girl letting go of her princess years!

So if DH says, go, definetly get there while she is still in princess mode!

WE're GOING!
All of us, DH dosen't want to be here alone, so we are all going! Although, we are stopping and taking a MAJOR detour to the football hall of fame on the way, and he wants to take the Disney Cruise, so he can see something new. And do the 4 days on land. YEAH!!! Not going until December. But I can deal with that!
Thanks for all the advice

I would go without him, Im bringing my DS (6) in October and leaving DH and DS (2) DS (12) home. Sometimes it nice to have the time with just your child...plus its cheaper if your looking to same $$
I did the same thing back in 2002 with my other DS when he was (7) We had the best time. And I plan to do it when my 2 year old gets old enough.

Nicole,

My husband is not a Disney fan, he just plays along and goes with the flow. That being said I would not hesitate for a minute on even taking my 4 alone. They all love Disney like their mom and we would go in a heart beat. My suggestion is go on 2 shorter trips. One to Disney and another your DH wants to go on.
