Since we'll have a rental car and really wanted to check things out offsite more this trip, we've decided we didn't want to be tied down with ADRs for our May 10th-20th trip and would rather try more meals offsite. We're keeping our BOG ADR for May 14th, but that's the only ADR we'll have for the entire eleven days we're down there. As an AP holder, I go often enough that I'm are tired of most of the onsite restaurants anyway. I'm really looking forward to trying offsite places, I've never tried before. Oooh, it feels like such a wonderful burst of freedom.
I just canceled our Fantasmic pkg at Mama Melrose for May 12th at 4:55pm if anyone wants it. I also canceled ADRs for Boma, Jiko, Turf Club, Raglan Road, Biergarten, Cape May Clam Bake, Paradiso 37, Flying Fish, Yak & Yeti (lunch), and Via Napoli (lunch).
We are sooooo excited, just thinking about not having to be anywhere at any particular time. Instead we are trying Tu Tu Tango, Columbia (the Spanish/Cuban restaurant over in Celebration), some restaurants over at Universal's City Walk, Fogo de Chao Brazillian Steak House, Cracker Barrel, an Indian restaraunt (if we can find a good one?), Boston Lobster Feast, and not sure what else. We may check out one of the dinner shows. My mom has never seen Medieval Times or the Comedy Show. We'll be staying at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, so may just check out a couple of restaurants there. Any other suggestions for something different?
