We had another awesome stay at WL and CSR. We have stayed here before, both at WL and CSR.

WL~courtyard view facing MK and you can see the fireworks from our balcony. Staying in courtyard is definitely worth it.

We ate at Whispering Canyon. The food was good! I had pork.

We didn't use the transportation. We didn't do any park while we were at this resort. We love the hot tub. It's nice that they have 2 so it is never crowded.

CSR~Cabanas 9B~ excellent location. There was a convention going on, but that didn't bother us. They were at the convention early in the morning until late at night. We didn't see them much except at El Centro. The pool is always empty due to the weather. There's always people at the hot tub. Good thing that they made this tub large enough to hold 22! The water didn't feel like 104 degrees, it felt like bath water, it felt good to me!

The bus transportation was excellent. We didn't wait more than 10 minutes. The bus is usually half empty except at night coming from the parks.

The food court was fine. I prefer the food court at the All Stars and at the Pop. They seem to have more varieties and have more choices for the kids. In my taste...the food is more tastier at the value resorts and at the other moderate resorts.

The room is updated. New carpet, new borders, new light fixtures and the chair is newly painted and new comforters (diff print). It looks like just renovated the room we were at. I like it. The room is very clean.

The check in was fast and easy. There were about 8 CMs at the front desk and 3 at the guest service.

Yes, I would stay here again at WL and CSR.

The weather was...ummmm...really cold last night! It was cold this morning too. I would never want to do value resort during cold weather or during winter again. I have to have my hot tub! I did value a few times during winter, but we had a great weather then.

Any questions?

I'm glad you had a great time. We'll be staying at WL for the first time in November and can't wait!

PS... :flower: Your kids are so cute!

Such beautiful pictures!!
Glad you had a fun trip. Such a good point about Winter and Hor Tubs :cloud9:
We are going to WL for the second time next month. Can't wait!! :Pinkbounc

Glad you had such a great time. We are staying at the WL for the first time in May and I can't wait. I think I'm really getting on my DH's nerves because I am trying to make our PS's and I keep asking him what he thinks (nice to have some input every once in a while), but all he says is "whatever you want to do is fine". Welcome home!!! :flower:

Isn't the WL awesome?

Now tell me...you had a cy view AND a view of wishes? Do you remember what room number you had? I am assuming you were on the south side of the building...faciing the CY and then past the CY to MK. I have not had a room there...so maybe thjat is something I will request next time! But you are right...CY view is the best!

Glad you had a good time! I like CSR, too!

Thanks guys, it's good to be home. Our room is 6145. Any room on the 6th floor facing MK should be fine. The balcony is solid. When you sit down, you won't see anything but the solid wall, I didn't care for this one, but I guess if you want total privacy, you can even lay outside in the balcony naked and no one will know. BTW, we had bunk beds if that matters. I didn't ask for it, but the kids were excited about it.

Thanks for the report. Can't wait to get back to CSR.

Ya know, I do not care for the solid balconies, either. I'd rather have a lesser view on the 3rd, 4th or 5th floor.

So you were on the south side of the building, I guess, facing MK. I was on the north side (room 5041) facing straight out to the pool and the lake.

I like WC, too. I especially like their breakfast.

Wish I was there again right now! :earsgirl:

Hi Fantasia, glad to hear you had a great trip. You were a little hesitant before leaving. Nice to know it worked out well.

Guess you were feeling better, glad to hear it. How were the parks, crowded?

Me too, I'm glad things worked out. I had to pay for more $$$ to change the flight. I lost $$$ cause I didn't check in on the day I was suppose to check in at WL. I called the CM at WL from home and the WL manager was nice enough to rebook my room under the discounted code. I lost my $$$ at Royal Pacific, I never made it there. Everything was planned but never followed so this trip actually cost me more money...but it was worth it at the end!! I had no regrets.

CSR is just beautiful!! The ground is so gorgeous. The CM at the front desk told me that they usually put most of their convention guests at Casitas cause the rooms there are closer to the convention center. I don't know why would anyone go to the park with their business suits/dress on. Do they want to feel like "big shots"? They could at least change to something more comfortable. Everyone was wearing shorts and t-shirts, they are sooo out of place. Poor lady, she got her high heels on and she was going to Epcot!

BTW, CSR has the refrig already in the room. It was in this small cabinet that looks like a box but nicely painted. It sits next to the armoire. WL didn't have the refrig yet.

Talk about paper thin wall...I think WL has them too! Actually the boys next door got overly excited and so they were yelling in the morning! I was ready to go the balcony and yell back and tell them that some folks are still sleeping and to stop yelling. Good thing that we weren't staying at WL for another night. Sounds like hyper kids and the parents won't even stop them when the kids get loud. At CSR, it was sooo quiet. You would think that you're the only one in that building. I just noticed that at CSR they didn't have the turbo toilet. WL has the turbo toilet.

I miss CSR and WL already!! Both are wonderful resorts! Both very clean and the rooms are in a very good shape. I thought I felt Disneyed out...but after staying at CSR and WL...it makes me want to go back for more!! :)

Glad you had a great trip Fantasia. WL and CSR are my two favorite resorts, without a doubt.

I would imagine it was all those cold butts in the water bringing the hot tub temperature down. :rotfl:

Thanks for the report *Fantasia* -- sounds like you had a nice time! What are your top three favorite resorts?

We did AK and it was not busy. It was a great day to walk around and stop and smell the roses. It was not hot at all...if anything it was kind of chilly that day. We also did Epcot that night and again, it was not busy at all. There was no line at Spaceship Earth. At MK, it was a different story. It was busy, but it was doable. The wait at Pooh and Snow White was 30 minute. Peter Pan was 50 minute wait. Buzz was also 50 minute wait. Dumbo was 60 minute wait.

We didn't do a lot of ride on this trip. I was really sick before we left Detroit and I didn't want to put strain on myself and get sick again, so we just went where the line isn't too long and we did the Fast Pass. No matter what time of the year, MK will always be crowded. I've been there during slow season (Dec, Jan, Feb), I've been there during Easter and during summer...MK is always crowded.

Ha ha ha.. :rotfl: Well...My kids sure help kept the water warm! :earboy2:

CRSNDSNY, my three favorite resorts would have to be WL, CSR and POP.

WL for the theme and location.
CSR for the theme and transportation~ fast and very efficient.
POP for the theme and transportation~ fast and very efficient and the food court~ lots of varieties to choose from, and varieties for children too.

Glad you had a nice time.

B/t/w, WL has *3* hot tubs, not 2. The 3rd & largest one is next to the quiet pool and vveerrryyyy nice! :sunny:
