After reading so many posts questioning the ability of adults being/not being allowed to wear costumes at MNSSHP, I was very upset. My husband will be Woody and I will be Queen of Hearts. I bought these costumes from Disney and just for this trip! I wanted to know for sure and here is the information I got:

I called the number on the reservation sheet w/ my MNSSHP tickets, as well as, the main information line who spoke to MK customer relations.

Adults may dress! They have to be in good taste, nothing that would frighten, no masks covering faces, no sharp or pointed objects and nothing that could resemble a weapon. You can also dress as Disney Characters (even if you resemble them), Disney just made it very clear to me that under no circumstances can you sign autographs! They weren't kidding!

Well my husband and I in no way resemble who we will be dressed as, so I will not worry about that!:D :D

So if you were on the fence about dressing up, do it. It will make the party even better. I can't wait to see all the costumes!

You'll have fun! My daughter and I both dressed as non-scarey witches (as my daughter called us) and got a lot of comments from other kids. It was fun to dress up!

Thanks for the update and clarification. This certainly makes me feel much better as we are planning on dressing for MNSSHP on 10/26 in Disney costumes. Though I would agree, even though we'll have on Disney costumes, I look nothing like Pinocchio (Oh could I only wish to be that thin) nor does my daughter look like Esmeralda. Thanks again!!

I thought I should share, since I have used and abused these board for my own advantage many times. I wanted to be Esmeralda, but I do not have the shape. In fact, it was very difficult to find a Disney Costume for my shape. I will actually be a thinner Queen of Hearts. :p :p
