Just called Disney and I have a code!

I just called Disney today and asked if there were any codes attached to my name or my husbands name. She checked and unfortunately I didn't have the 40% code, however, she said that there is a code attached to my name that says "MYW free dining for kids...." and that's all she could see. The code doesn't go into effect until 1/15/09 and she couldn't access the details of the discount. She couldn't tell if there was a room discount with it yet or when it's good for. She said that I should receive it on or around the 15th of this month which is when it can start to be booked. I'm anxious to find out what it is. Has anyone else heard of this? The CM said that this was the first she's seen this particular code. :rotfl:
 
i am not sure about the code, but i hope its for the dates the others isn't covering.
 
I called last week to ask if there was a code on my name and the CM said yes. She said it was for March 1 -May2. She never saw it before and put me on hold to check it out. Turns out the code isn't valid until 1/15. She told me she couldn't talk about it, but she did say it was not a % off. Perhaps this is what she was talking about.
 
Good Luck hope it's for the dates that you are looking for....only a couple of days left until you find out.

I called this morning and NOTHING. The CM wasn't as friendly as those I've talked to before, but I wanted my email address changed and since I had her on the phone I asked about the codes.

Nothing under my or DH's name. BUMMER!

I've found going in with a good cover story makes them more apt to help you. I've called the regular ressie number listed on the Disney website three times and each time they've checked for me. I usually just site having a horribly good spam filter on my comp as the reason. Maybe call and tell them you want to check what email address you have on the account. That way they have your account up already?:confused3

According to the CM I spoke with this morning she said there is a "button" on their end of my account that they press to see if there is any discount pins associated with anyone listed on the account (which is just me, DH and the kids).

I have called 1-407-939-6244 and told them that I had recieved an email but accidently deleted it (even though I didn't) always worked for me to get them to look...I feel bad for being deceitful until I found out I had a code and it was sent to an old address and would have never ever known especially since it was under my maiden name!! :cool1:
 
I am interested in finding out what it is! I highly doubt I would get a pin code, but I am curious though.

What do you mean by everything? Tickets, room, and food? What dates, do you know? That is amazing. Thinking I should call and check for a code.:rotfl:

I tried to call about 20 minutes ago, I have been debating switching from POP to POFQ for my mini-trip and was going to book it. The CM on the phone told me that their systems are currently down and to call back this afternoon.
 
She said everything. I should of questioned more because reading on here I'm thinking it was for the room only. I have to find out more. I didn't question because I didn't think the dates would be good but after talking to my husband we may just do it!
 
I can't believe that the computers are down. Maybe to upload info, who knows.:confused: Can't wait to hear more info about the code.:goodvibes
 
I called this morning and got a not so nice CM who told me that she cannot check this and that the girl who told me on Monday about the code should not have done that and I have to wait until I receive something. She even asked me if I knew the CM's name, apparently so she could get her in trouble. I said no I didn't know it. Anyway, she would not check. This is not an issue of can they or can't they, it's an issue of will they or won't they. It depends who you get. I tried back about an hour later and got a different lady who said she'd be happy to help me, but their computers are down. She told me to call back later today. Who knows how i'll make out then. I'll be sure to let everyone know.
 
While waiting to call Disney back, I found a code that was emailed to me in an old email account I no longer use. I called Disney to use it and they were unable to access the information. Since she couldn't get that code to work, she gave me the 40% off deal!!!! I'm soooo excited. I booked for 10/25 to 11/1. :dance3:
