Just called and they found a code!

It must be our lucky day because when I just called to book they said I had a 40% discount waiting for me!! Let's all do a happy dance!:banana: :banana: :banana:
 
Have either of you called before to check? If so, when was the last time that you called? I'm just trying to figure out if I should call again. TIA!
 

Did either one of you get a postcard either via post or email?

Howdy VickiVM. Nice to see another San Antonio DIS'er on here.

To the OP, I would also like to know if you had previously called and were advised that there was not code linked to your name. I know there have been people who would call in September with no code, however would call back a few weeks later and all of a sudden a code appears. Coincidence or not?:eek:
 
I called yesterday and she said she couldnt find anything.. I always call places back the next day b/c it all depends on if the person feels like really looking things up or how hard they are going to try. And yes I got a postcard and lost it, thats why I called to check. They also had my email wrong so I wasnt recieving any emails. Try again asap. GOOD LUCK!!!

been calling and calling. The res agent said "here's the deal..unless you got one in the email or with a postcard, you won't have one by your name.I know though that I've read where folks have just 'happened' to call, and the rep found a code for them. And I asked my dis rep about another resort(value) in case a code didn't come out, and she said there really wasn't a need too unless I was prepared to cancel my moderate. And I am NOT cancelling my moderate yet!

Here's hoping for some of that MAGIC that we all need!!(Some of us would take any:cloud9:)

This was the first time I called but I did get an email with a 20% pin code last week. I was shocked when she said that I had a 40% code!

Hope you all can get them as well. We saved over $500!:cool1: The lady that I dealt with (Liza the wonderful woman!) said she would check under our family name, not just my name. She was super. She asked if i had gotten a card of email and I told her that I had gotten an email but not with 40%. She said "Well, they decided to do you one better!"

Nope! I called to make a ressie several months ago and there was a code (though not valid for my upcoming trip). I never received anything from Disney. I believe it was 30% off room only for travel in the fall.

I called on a whim, just like everyone else and had a 40% code a few weeks ago. I have still yet to receive ANYTHING in the mail, email, or otherwise informing me of the code. So, I say call if you want, you may get lucky :yay:
 
I think it is really hit and miss if you are really going to get any help when you call to see if you have a code. I just called and spent a long time waiting while listening to converstations in the background (someone was trying to find someone to go to lunch with). Well anyway after a few minutes I was told that there was no code attached to my name (followed by little chuckle). The thing is .............. I just got an email today with a pin number for a 20% discount.
 
Holy cow, me too! 40% off! We were going to do land and sea but this might change things...
 
:cool1: Think I'll "just keep swimmin', swimmin', just keep swimmin', swimmin'", and keep trying different res agents. We are going...just could use some of that magic! Maybe I caught the last one on an off day, because 'whew', she was absolute and wouldn't even check another cheaper resort for me because I wasn't ready to cancel yet. I did think that most odd. Never heard of an agent not checking availability for you.
Oh well...still lovin' Disney!:love:
 
You should def. keep trying. Some of the CMs are just not friendly. But there are alot of very helpful ones there. Call again today and tell them you got a flyer and lost it... it will make them look better :)

I too have a 40%discount by my name! I went ahead and booked but am now wondering if I should have gone thru AAA. Do you think there would be any benefit booking through AAA with the 40%. Aren't the tickets a little cheaper? By the way this 40% saved us around $600!
 
:flower3: OK, How do you get a code? We are already booked through AAA but like anyone else would like to save $$. Should I call or have my AAA agent call.
