Just bought my first AP now what do I do?

It's a dream come true! We just recently moved to South Florida and of course we HAD to buy annual passes to WDW! We are beyond excited & are going for Mother's Day this weekend. We are picking up our APs at will call & I have already selected fast passes for the weekend. So what do I do now? Any tips or tricks on customizing our magic bands? How & when do I do that? I do realize I'll have a paper ticket for our first visit but beyond buying the darn things I'm clueless. TIA

Start figuring out where you want to eat after you buy our TIW card.

You get your bands after your activate your tickets.

Once you get home log into MDE and customize them and click ship.

Onve you activate MDE will tell you that you can customize the bands. If staying onsite you can still order. Wuth your first AP MBs youll get a green slider that will say "passholder 2015" plus your get a discount card (for merchandise and some sit down resort restaurants). For TIW make sure its something you'll get use out of. Its not good everywhere. I got it once, wasnt worth it to us.we like CS in parks (no discounts given) If 15 yr old wanted to go grab something at food court, I had to go with her.

Check out on MDE all the discounts available to you at the parks, hotels & DTD. I saved a lot of money last month on our vacation on the food, room & gifts. I watch the different blog boards & websites for upcoming AP specials especially on rooms. We have the weekday only AP & love it. Have had it for years.
