We are thrilled to be new members yay!! My guide mentioned that if we want to pay our dues monthly we have to setup automatic payments I just received a piece of mail today expecting a payment to be sent back (via mail) with a slip they gave me. It says to send it back if paying in full with payment but there's also a spot to write in the amount we actually enclosed.. Is anyone able to pay monthly without autopay?? I'd really like to get around this, I've done terrible things to our checking account not keeping track of auto payments coming out. It's a real problem for me thanks for your help and advice!

Congratulations on your purchase! To my knowledge, it's either auto-pay monthly, or pre-pay for the year.

Sympathetic to your auto-pay problems as a lackadaisical check book balancer, but DVC needs to be sure they can pay mouse keeping and maintenance.

I believe you are correct. You can either pay in full in advance in January each year or "pay as you go" each month. If you choose the monthly payment option, the mouse wants each payment in full and on time so they insist on a direct debit from your bank account.

We set aside the money in our savings account each month as if we are paying our dues monthly. Then we pull the money out to pay off the dues when we charge them to our Disney Visa in January.
