Called today and booked a 5 night stay (Jan 1-6) at OKW in a studio for hubby and me. I was leaning towards BWV, but it wasn't available for the whole stay. OKW was my second choice. Any advice, never stayed there before?

The only advice I have is to go to OKW and enjoy every minute of your stay.

You could have done a split stay at BWV but if you don't want to move, just enjoy ! You will love it ! :cloud9:

Just wanted to make sure you are aware that OKW studios have 2 queen beds and no sofa. Some folks prefer this configuration, others prefer 1 queen and a sofabed.
Have a great trip!

if you are a long way from the "hospitality house" area and want to get there without a long walk, just hop the first bus that comes by and the last stop should be the HH area...where the lobby, main pool, boat dock, olivia's and gift shop are located.

This is my second favorite resort next to VWL and the only other DVC resort I stayed at was SS. OKW is a resort where you can relax and feel like your miles away from the Parks. It is a great resort to rent a bike and take a stroll.

For just the 2 adults, this resort will be perfect. It's not overly-themed just for the kiddos. We are staying at OKW in a few weeks! :cool1:

We stay at OKW often because of the low points and availability. I think you will have a wonderful time - it is very laid back and as said earlier a great resort for an adults-only trip. If you are looking for something to do, it is a great resort for riding bikes. We rented bikes when we were staying at SSR and rode the path over to OKW and rode around. We're also big fans of Olivia's, the table service restaurant.
